Better than expectedPosted Sep 9, 2014
Decent hotel, decent rooms with kitchen facilities but definitely don't rely on the free breakfast which contained (among other things) fruit which really didn't taste like fruit and coffee that even I put down after a couple of sips.

Perfect location!Posted Aug 26, 2014
What a beautiful hotel! The staff was so very nice and helpful! We arrived a little early for check-in but it was not an issue! They gave us a temporary parking pass, which by the way the parking is located directly behind the hotel, which allowed us to grab a bite to eat and walk around to get a layout of the area. Our room was part of the original building and it was perfect for us! Nice soft king sized bed and a full kitchen! No mini fridge here! The room was very clean and well maintained, although we did have some trouble with the tv the first night but when we brought it to the front desk attendants attention it was fixed right away! The location is perfect! We were about 5 short blocks from the well known city market and right across the street from the river front and all of it's great restaurants and shops. The concierge was super helpful about getting us information on the sites we wanted to see and if we had wanted he was happy to make any and all reservations as needed! We would stay here again no doubt about it and I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends! In fact I already have!! One possible negative is that they do not have a swimming pool. This was not an issue for us, but may be for some!

nice locationPosted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: the location and the main entry hall
We were a little bit disappointed with the room. I had no window to the outside, just to the floor inside of the hotel. so, guests walk by your room all time. Even you are able to close it with blinds, you feel like you are not alone. a littel dark as well.

Across the street from River st!!!Posted Aug 10, 2014
Needed a place to stay overnight. Wanted to be close to downtown and all the restaurants. Was very convenient to hop across the street and be in the heart of downtown.

Great value and locatoinPosted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: Staff, breakfasts and happy hour were the best!
Location: In the heart of historic downtown Savannah. Walk to any and everything!
Stayed here during our relocation to Savannah with twin infant daughters. The staff was so accomodating, the rooms nicely done and very clean. Excellent breakfast with so many choices. Drinks available all day and a wonderful happy hour! I would tell anyone to stay there, especially if you are looking for a kitchenette style accommodation.

Staybridge was close to so many sights with many opportunities for our family. The food was excellent at the many restaurant nearby. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast served each morning in the lobby was great and the evening lite meal was good also.

Good Location/Pet FriendlyPosted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Location and pet friendly policy
Cons: Attention to detail, like making sure there's enough toilet paper so your guests don't run out.
Location: Location is great, right across from the river walk and right in the historic district.
The pros: good location close to riverfront and in historic district. Breakfast just okay. The lovely young woman who checked us in and checked us out was very nice. Sorry I can't remember her name-but we checked in on the 19th and checked out on the 21st. The cons: our room was on the first floor and if we opened our blinds the people walking down bay street could look right in. Housekeeping did not leave us a spare roll of toilet paper and when I asked for one Sunday night, there was no toilet paper in the building and they had to contact their "sister properties" to hunt one down. The following morning in spite of the do not disturb sign on our door, the manager and one of the housekeepers knocked on our door (we think it had to do with the TP situation) and by the time my daughter got out of bed to answer it they had walked away. We had a dog, so I guess that's why we were given an accessible room, which was fine, but there was no vanity on which to place our toiletries and we had to stoop to get under the shower head. The icemaker in the room refrigerator did not work nor did the ice dispenser in the soda machine. I found out upon check out that if we needed ice, we had to ask someone to get it for us in the back. Check in took a very long time as there was only one person on a busy Saturday afternoon helping guests.
