nice locationPosted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: the location and the main entry hall
We were a little bit disappointed with the room. I had no window to the outside, just to the floor inside of the hotel. so, guests walk by your room all time. Even you are able to close it with blinds, you feel like you are not alone. a littel dark as well.

Across the street from River st!!!Posted Aug 10, 2014
Needed a place to stay overnight. Wanted to be close to downtown and all the restaurants. Was very convenient to hop across the street and be in the heart of downtown.

Great value and locatoinPosted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: Staff, breakfasts and happy hour were the best!
Location: In the heart of historic downtown Savannah. Walk to any and everything!
Stayed here during our relocation to Savannah with twin infant daughters. The staff was so accomodating, the rooms nicely done and very clean. Excellent breakfast with so many choices. Drinks available all day and a wonderful happy hour! I would tell anyone to stay there, especially if you are looking for a kitchenette style accommodation.

Staybridge was close to so many sights with many opportunities for our family. The food was excellent at the many restaurant nearby. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast served each morning in the lobby was great and the evening lite meal was good also.

Good Location/Pet FriendlyPosted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Location and pet friendly policy
Cons: Attention to detail, like making sure there's enough toilet paper so your guests don't run out.
Location: Location is great, right across from the river walk and right in the historic district.
The pros: good location close to riverfront and in historic district. Breakfast just okay. The lovely young woman who checked us in and checked us out was very nice. Sorry I can't remember her name-but we checked in on the 19th and checked out on the 21st. The cons: our room was on the first floor and if we opened our blinds the people walking down bay street could look right in. Housekeeping did not leave us a spare roll of toilet paper and when I asked for one Sunday night, there was no toilet paper in the building and they had to contact their "sister properties" to hunt one down. The following morning in spite of the do not disturb sign on our door, the manager and one of the housekeepers knocked on our door (we think it had to do with the TP situation) and by the time my daughter got out of bed to answer it they had walked away. We had a dog, so I guess that's why we were given an accessible room, which was fine, but there was no vanity on which to place our toiletries and we had to stoop to get under the shower head. The icemaker in the room refrigerator did not work nor did the ice dispenser in the soda machine. I found out upon check out that if we needed ice, we had to ask someone to get it for us in the back. Check in took a very long time as there was only one person on a busy Saturday afternoon helping guests.

So close to River StreetPosted Jul 23, 2014
Breakfast was sometimes cleared too early while people were still up putting food on their plates- breakfast should at least stay out while clients are still spooning it onto their plates. Several employees were rude at the front desk- acted like they couldn't be bothered. We were not told on the phone that the pack and play was subject to availability after I called to reserve one and we almost didnt get one for my 5month old.

Historic district, walking distance to everywhere.Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Centrally located. Charming and very well kept, very clean.
Location: Historic district behind the hotel with parks, fountains. Everything is nearby. Across the street is the waterfront with bars, shops and restaurants.
Very lovely and relaxing Savannah historic district. My girlfriend had never been to Savannah, didn't know what to expect. She loved it! Had a great time. We walked everywhere. Everyone was very polite and friendly and the restaurants were excellent, above expectations. Lots of parks, fountains, sculptures and plenty of history to take in. Highly recommend Historic Savannah to any and all!

Conveniently located hotel right on Bay StreetPosted Jul 6, 2014
Awesome experience with a couple exceptions. One, you pay $12 PER DAY for parking with them. I did not see this posted anywhere. Two, their breakfast was great IF you manage to time your arrival perfectly. There seemed to be one person in the kitchen and one person out on the floor. The HOT food was CONSTANTLY Empty and you needed to stand waiting for about 25 mintues in hopes is getting the next round of food. Coffee was out panxake mix was out. If they doubled breakfast staff, especially on a holiday weekend like July 4th, I would have no problems here but it didn't seem like we were fully getting what was advertised....
