Highway RobberyPosted Nov 27, 2013
We stayed here 3 nights. Overall the room was okay. The bed was creaky and uncomfortable and my back hurt from sleeping in it. Hotel staff were almost non-existent. When passing by the front desk numerous times, I only saw staff at front desk twice. Our last night there our vehicle driver's window was smashed in and we were robbed at about 9 p.m.. The vehicle was parked right in front of hotel under bright lights. However they do not have any security cameras for the parking lot, so the police had nothing to work from to recover any items for us. The police informed us it is a bad neighborhood and this happens quite frequently in that area, with the thieves smashing, looting and then taking off to the interstate and disappearing. When I went to check out I rang and rang the bell at the front desk, and finally went into the breakfast room where a woman was cleaning and asked her if anyone was working at front desk, and she didn't reply, but then walked to behind the front desk and then asked me what I wanted. The hotel was not apologetic about our $3,000.00 + loss due to the robbery and refused to even refund us one night's stay. I would not recommend this hotel obviously, nor any other at this particular interstate exit. We had to drive 7 hours home without a driver's window in 30 - degree weather. Brrrrrrrrrr

clean cheap motelPosted Nov 24, 2013
Pros: it was clean.
Cons: Not charging for every child would be nice. Front desk staff not friendly.
Location: area has tons of motels
This motel charged us extra for 2 kids even though we booked a room with 2 double beds. Tiny TV and really loud hallways

Pros: It is a good hotel for the price we paid and is only 20 minutes from the middle of Savannah.
Cons: The continental breakfast could have had a little more. There was only a few items such as coffee, cereal, and a machine to make waffles.
Location: The location is right off the main highway and is close enough to the middle of Savannah.
Only stayed one night but, my experience was good especially for the price I paid.

Clean and close to the highwayPosted Nov 5, 2013
for a super 8 this one is really good. There are the floors with elevator access. The room was clean and spacious. Its definitely higher than a two star. The only drawbacks I can think of are lack of gym and pool - but I really don't care for those amenities. The breakfast is standard for these types of hotels.

Nice and quitePosted Oct 30, 2013
Perfect place for a quite night of sleep. Staff was very accommodating in giving us a first floor room. Thank you. It was a pet friendly room, but you would not know it. Very clean.

Good price; close to airportPosted Oct 29, 2013
Cons: Visibility from freeway
It took us a few phone calls to find the hotel; there was not much signage visible from the highway.
