Out of the Ordinary

Posted Jan 12, 2015
The hotel had lots of interesting artwork. It does not look like your average hotel in any way. It is very cool. The bathroom lamps were made out of oyster shells, and they were truly pieces of art. The location couldn't be better. The service was outstanding. It is a splurge, but we definitely thought it was worth it. It was a stay to remember.

Great place to stay

Posted Jan 5, 2015
The hotel is situated walking distance to everything. The entite staff was very courteous and helpful. Stephen went out of his way to make our family dinner memorable. He called the restaurant, made sure we had a river view and treated as VIP. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Our kids really enjoyed the milk and cookies on the late night menu. It was a great experience.

Great location

Great location to explore historic Savannah Unfortunately staff were no where near as helpful or curteous as the Asheville Autograph team Room is a good size and bed is comfy Semi door to bathroom, seems to be an autograph design thing Breakfast good but limited choices if staying within $30 for two people allowance

Very nice, but not worth the price.

Posted Nov 17, 2014
My fiancé and I booked a king bed room. At check in we were brought to a second floor room with two queen beds; granted the staff tried to find us what we asked for but all was booked. It was a nice hotel, but too pricey for what we got.

Dear Allison, I appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. I apologize that it seems you did not enjoy the room you received due to double queen room you were in. We really appreciate you sharing your concerns and hate to hear your stay was anything less than perfect. I do hope that you will be back to Savannah at some point so we can provide that stellar customer experience. Sincerely, Jeremy B

Pros: Location and size of rooms/bathroom. Also has a great rooftop bar to enjoy the river view.
Location: Easily walk to any where in Historic Savannah.
The Hotel was centrally located and rooms spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful with giving us points of interest to see.

Fabulous hotel on the Savannah river front

Posted Oct 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
We ended up in Savannah unexpectedly and found this hotel by Hotels.com search. It is an interesting hotel with roof top bar and restaurant on the river level. We were happy with both. You really can't beat the location. We would stay here again.

Nice hotel but not worth the cost

Posted Oct 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
Centrally located. There is a great bar on the roof, but if you stay on the 8th floor as I did you will have very loud music that plays until 1am. This also draws in a crowd of people who are not hotel guests that are clogging up the elevators start at 9PM, and typically not sober. Do not permit front desk to make restaurant reservations as we showed up to a restaurant Saturday night with no reservations which the front desk told us they booked for us.... Since our night was changed since we could not get into a restaurant after the messed up reservation we hoped to watch a movie in our room. Even though it was advertised that we could get movies on demand our room had it's box removed and we could not even rent a movie. Overall the stay was OK but definitely sub-par for the cost of this hotel. I feel we would have gotten better service and a more comfortable stay at another hotel for much less.

Gear Phil, I am genuinely sorry that we did not exceed your expectations during your recent visit with us. We do apologize for the noise disturbance you experienced due to our live music, and for the mishap with your dining reservations. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention. Thank you, Nick S. General Manager

Beautiful View, Expceptional Service

Posted Oct 15, 2014
The hotel staff was pleasant from arrival, all the way through. They helped with our bags, unloaded things into our room, made wonderful dinner suggestions and did not try to upsell the hotel restaurant. They were very polite late into the evening when we were looking for a nice local bar. Even on checkout the staff were splendid, storing our belongings after checkout so we could explore Savannah on our own time.
