“Step back in time without losing comforts of the present!”
Can't go wrong with this hotel and would stay again.
“Love this hotel!!”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marshall House. The staff have mastered the art of southern hospitality, and made us feel like we were honored guests. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful, complete with homemade quiche, and heated coffee cups. The mattresses made you feel like you were in your own bed at home, and the location was central to everything. Well done, Marshall House - we're already looking for an excuse to return!
“The past lives on at Marshall House”
This place is not a hotel. More like a bed and breakfast. There's no room service but the staff is wonderful. Charles was AMAZING. The bed was comfortable but the room was not as clean as I believe it should have been. To be exact, it was dusty and had dust bunnies on the floor. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.
“great service”
The Marshall House would be of interest to history buffs travelling to Savannah but we enjoyed the hospitality and quality of service we received, especially from the valets, front desk and concierge. It's an older hotel, so floorboards can be creaky, but the room we had was very cozy and the location couldn't be better for walks to the river and around the historic district. We would come back.
“Great choice in Historic Savannah”
The Marshall House is a great place to stay in historic Savannah. Easy location for walking through the many old squares. Rooms nicely decorated in a modern motif which blends well with the old building, high ceilings, and creaky stairs. Refrigerator and complimentary bottled water in room is appreciated. Check in was a pleasure with smooth valet service for our car and warm welcome from Charles at the desk. Wine and cheese in the lounge daily is provided, though more seating is needed for the guests then. Breakfast is a lovely spread of quiche, pastries, fruit, cereals, and juices. We fully enjoyed our stay and recommend The Marshall House to all.
“Elegant, historical!”
Beautiful, historical, close to everything! Hotel staff was superb, gave useful tips, advice recommendations! Would love to stay there again!
“Nice stay”
Spent an evening at the Marshall House - Wonderful experience. It's history is interesting. The location is perfect for taking in all downtown has to offer. The service is perfect down to the last detail. Highly recommend treating yourself to stay in this grand old hotel,
“Charming historic hotel”
My third stay. I like this hotel, and will return.
“Historic hotel in great downtown location”
We loved our stay at the Marshall Hotel. The historic character of this hotel is maintained without sacrificing modern amenities. The breakfast included is substantial. The location makes it within walking distance of the river and other destinations downtown. Perfect for a weekend getaway or a week's stay.
“Best Hotel in Savannah Ga.”
When we drove up to the Hotel the valet personnel where at the car before we knew it and they were very friendly one took our car and the other took our bags to the room after we had checked in. The Concierge was very friendly and made all the neccessary reservations and planned our day of activities for the time we were there. All the complimentary amenities were great and made our stay more enjoyable. The 45 Bistro Restaurant menue and personnel were great
