“Pleasant Stay”

The hotel was very neat and clean, appeared freshly painted and appeared well maintained. The outdoor pool was being cleaned and freshened while we were there. Although breakfast was available at 6:30 AM, we came downstairs at 5:50 AM and were invited to have coffee and a roll or toast. By 6:00 the eggs were served. It was very nice to enjoy that, rather than search for a place to have coffee when we didn't have much time. We had a very pleasant stay and would return. Thank you, Darlene

“Breakfast bar clears out early”

Overall I am very pleased with this Hotel. The room, facilites can cleanliness are excellent. However, be advised that the breakfast bar that is supposed to be open until 10am is usually depleted of one or more items by 9am and they are usually not replenished. This is our second stay at this location and both times the scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon was emptied before 9am and were not refilled. They must decide how much to make in the morning and when it is gone- TFB for everyone else!

This is a great hotel at a resonable price and very near I-95. The breakfast was very good along with the free paper. I would definitely use this hotel again when I am traveling in the area.

I go to the University of Florida but am originally from VA. I decided to drive home this break and on the way back spent a night at the Wingate by Windham. I didn't have any expectations as I found a fantastic price. For the price, the quality, service, and accommodations were fantastic. The room was very spacious and well maintained. The concierge was very understanding and helpful whenever help was needed. I also had the free continental breakfast which consisted of the standard items and usually wouldn't suffice as a proper breakfast, but again for the price I paid and being that it was free it was just enough to keep my hunger satiated until I reached my apartment in Gainesville. All in all, I think the stop was completely worth it and will stop here on my way back everytime (and am sure that my family will stop here whenever they drive down to visit me as well). The only negative thing is that there aren't many restaurants to eat close by (especially vegeterian options). There's a subway and that's about it. Wouldn't stop me from coming back though. Will definitely visit again.

“Very convenient place to stay for the money!!!”

Very clean, convenient location, safe area. Stayed there enroute to Florida and would stay there again. Breakfast wasn't great, but they didn't promise one either. For the money, well worth it, and downtown Savannah (Riverfront) is an added bonus.

“"Weekend Getaway"”

Everything was satisfactory with Wingate except for the size of the beds. We had booked a room at a special rate which had double beds, there was 3 in our group. Queen beds would had been much better, but overall everything was great from checkin to checkout. Breakfast bar was very satisfactory.

“Savannah stay”

The hotel was well maintained, staff helpful and courteous, good breakfast in the morning. Surrounding area was loud and full of traffic. Train going by at night was a distraction. All is all a satifying stay.
