Nice hotel close to the beachPosted Sep 5, 2013
The hotel is close to the beach and situated in a nice and quiet area. The rooms are spatious and clean and there is a beautiful garden including tables and chairs to spend some time in front of the mediteranean vegetation. Rooms with sea view have also a balcony. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Nice hotel in a good locationPosted Jul 31, 2013
Pros: Location and the free parking
Cons: Reduce the cost of the Wi-Fi or allow more than a single device at a time
Location: Right up the hill from the beach. Within walking distance of several bars.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Garden Palace. It is located about a 5 minute walk from the beach and has free, secured parking. The room was pleasant with a nice view looking out towards the water. The breakfast meal was lacking if you're used to American-style hotel breakfast options, but it was par for the course for Italy and included in the room. The only complaint I had was for the wi-fi. I don't mind paying for wi-fi access, but 5 Euro per day and limited to one device at a time is excessive.

Hotel booked but put in another inferior onePosted May 25, 2012 on Hotels.com
W Ie booked this hotel but on arrival was put into their other hotel across the road. I queried this but was told I was at the right one. It was nothing like the one we booked much shabbier and run down! We realised why the next day as 140 cyclists and tntourage with cars, vans and coaches arrived to stay, part of the Giro Italia team. We were prisoners in our room as we could not get our car out even though I had informed them Mr Markham was disabled. I have informed our credit card company and they are investigating why our credit card was charged the full amount on booking.I would appreciate a reply over this matter as I would like to be able to make you aware of all our problems.Yours Ms C Lish

Would recommendPosted May 29, 2010
This hotel was good value for the price, rooms were comfy both with a sea view and towels changed every day. Reception ladies were very helpful, anything that was missing was replaced at once, and they spoke at least 4 languages. The breakfast was simple buffet style with ham, cheese squares, cereals, crossaints with tea and coffee. The only things wrong was the lack of parking spaces ( especially at the weekend ) and when a coach arrives because of the narrow roads and the climb from the seafront to the hotel, its a steep climb
