Had a comfortable stay, rooms are a little basic but fine. Only real gripe was breakfast, there was never anything left and that was at 7.30am.

It was a nasty shock when we entered our rooms as there is no air conditioner. That was fine if the hotel had anticipated the hot summer by providing hotel guests with cooling unit or standing fan to alleviate the heat.

Nice hotel, very good breakfast, the staff was friendly and efficient however the room was very dissapointing- empty minibar, unpleasent smell in the room, not even a bottle of water. Dated furnishing.

AC not working
The hotel looks good from outside. The only thing I feel unsatisfied is that the AC is fake. Staff in the hotel gave us a fan in stead since we feel very hot.

A fine hotel with an excellent restaurant and staff that were very helpful
We were very comfortable in this hotel and enjoyed being in the area. The restaurant is EXCELLENT; the breakfast offering is astounding!

Driveway
Everything is ok except couple downsides. Not much in the area and waited one hour to get lunch even though there were few customers. Single lane for the driveway which I never experienced before, we had to back out the driveway because the customer ahead of us took long time to check in and blocked the driveway.

perfect Hotel in an imperfect location !!
We have a very nice upgraded room ; it was like an apartment... we love it so much , we wish we could stay longer! The Reception staffs were very helpful. Quiet and in the lovely forest . But, the hotel is quite far from the City Centre and the Hbf... a big drawback for us. And the restaurant service was very slow at dinner. It's a great place for honeymooners !

nice hotel (and also very nice garden)
hotel is a city hotel but it was not so crowded. It was also quiet and silence. We called taxi 3 times but there was no queue.So one person who came after me got the taxi. Maybe you can give the taxi number to the people who called taxi. Room was clean and tidy. slipers and tooth brush & paste was short. Normally there must be in 4stars hotel.

New year's break.
Lovely place for walking in the Auen Wald and area. Breakfast is fabulous. Very friendly and helpful staff. Sauna and fitness room. Restaurant. Tram to city center nearby.

Good hotel for transit stop
It was an average stay in the hotel. Other than the breakfast buffet, there was not much more to say about the hotel. I chose this hotel as the price is lower than similar hotels nearer to the city centre, so I have no reason to complain about the location.

Nice hotel in a quiet area
I only stayed for one night, but the room and the bathroom were super clean. The check in process was super fast. Everything was nice. In addition, the surrounding area is beautiful, next to a forest, it is a nice opportunity to go out for a walk.

Leipzig in three days
A three day stay to visit Leipzig. Location for us was great as we didn't want to be in the middle of the city, and didn't mind the 5 min. walk to the tram and 15 min ride into the city. Clean, comfortable and quiet neighbourhood. Got breakfast in the city each day. Used street parking, in what seemed like a nice residential area.

Convenient for our purpose
Welcoming and efficient staff, good sized room, reasonable breakfast (if a little pricey). Broken air conditioning - apparently all rooms had it at some time, as they each have a temperature control and air duct, but this is not operational and has not been for some time, we understand. This is particularly problematic because the hotel is close to a very busy and noisy main road, and the weather for our visit was hot. The TV was out of action for the entire week of our stay (again, apparently this was a hotel - wide issue). Other than that, a pleasant hotel, but probably more 3 star than 4 star.

Room was not "First class" as marked. I'd hate to see what "not First Class" was like. It was very much the normal quality experienced in hotels across the world. Also, remember to book the breakfast option. If you book it afterwards, it gets very expensive very quickly. (68E for 2 days for Adult + child)

The Lindner Hotel Leipzig presents itself to the guests in a good to very good shape (consider it is app. 20 years old). The staff is friendly. Even the economy rooms are comfortable and of sufficient size with a good sized desk for working, enough hard surface and good lighting. Unfortunately there is no coffee/tea maker in the room (and no free coffee available at the lobby, too) and there is no free Internet/Wlan, but you may join the Lindner Hotel Bonus Programme - you can just do it at the reception - and you will get free wired or wireless ínternet immediatelly. But the biggest disadvantage is the location of the hotel: in the Suburbs with literally nothing around. Yes, you will find the streetcar to Leipzig Center within 5-8 min on foot, but it will take you another 20-30 Min to get there. If you have a car/rental car available you may use the hotel`s underground parking lot for additional 12 Euro/night, but you will find free parking in the side streets. The hotel is in a very safe area, no question, but a bit far off. The breakfast, if you get a rate with breakfast included, is good, varied and always served up by the attentive staff. I would recommend it only if you like to walk and go by streetcars.By the way, the public transportion System of Leipzig is surprisingly good and inexpensive (Euro 6,50 person/day, 2 persons only Euro 9,90/day), you can reach most of the places of interest/attractions by streetcar, even the stunning Battle of the Nations Monument/Völkerschlachtdenkmal.

Pleasant hotel as regards staff & room condition & cleanliness. Although dining room was fully booked they accommodate us at short notice ahead of the main rush. Very pleasant meal.

Quiet, relaxed, convenient.
Hotel in quiet neighborhood, but quite close to the city center. Very comfy room nice staff, quick check in and out. Reasonable internet speed - but at €10 per day.

Front desk customer service, Great!
The staff spoke English and were very helpful in assisting us with a reservation error. They moved us to a better room at no additional charge and we were offered the breakfast at an affordable rate for not having it included on our original booking. They also provided WIFI access for Free once we joined The Lindner Nights Rewards program. Very accommodating staff who understood the needs of their guests.

Suburban Leipzig
Classy joint, well furnished room, relatively luxurious. Impressive lobby and bar. Staff helpful. It's a bit out of town but quite accessible via the tram system. Would definitely use again if the price is right.

Far out of the way
The hotel was so far from the center of town, in a fairly rough area that I really didn't feel safe. While I can get the street train 3 blocks away, I can't say that I feel safe in the outskirts of the neighborhood. Also while the website said that all hotel staff speak English, this proved false in that only 2 of the some 8 receptionists could actually understand me.
