aqi Hotel Schladming, with a total of 107 rooms, is just like its motto of "Living pure & smart" – it is modern and stylish with clear-cut contours and contemporary, functional furnishing. Starting just a stone’s throw from the hotel are the ski slopes and the bike and hike routes.

In the lobby are a fireplace, free Apple internet terminals and a drinks machine. Relax after an eventful day in our Sky Sauna facilities with infrared sauna, steam bath and outside Finnish sauna on the roof terrace with a panoramic view over the Dachstein massif. Or take it easy looking out over the mountains in our glazed relax zone. A ski and bike depot are available for your use. An underground garage is available for a fee. The aqi Hotel Schladming is a non-smoking hotel.

A generous breakfast buffet is included in the price. If you book half-board you can look forward to a diverse buffet in the evening (starter, soup, salad and dessert) as well as live cooking points with a pasta corner.

Connoisseurs of fine regional specialities will also find the cuisine a pleasure. There’s Ennstale cheese soup and Kasnock’n (a special noodle variety), meat dishes from the region, lamb specialities and a tiramisu made with pumpkin seed oil. Always fresh and always a wonderful variety.

Living pure in winter

The Schladming region is part of the “Ski Amadé“ with some 860 kilometres of ski slopes and 270 lifts. The Schladming 4-Berge-Ski-Schaukel with more than 115 kilometres of ski slopes connects the four biggest Syrian ski mountains: Hauser-Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm. The aqi Hotel Schladming is opposite the world cup skiing downhill run with direct admission to the ski and snowboard area! For night owls there is a 7 km floodlit toboggan run and a 3 km floodlit slope on the Hochwurzen. The Dachstein Ice Palace gives visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves deep in the arcane world of a glacier. Inside the Dachstein glacier the main attractions are the intricately designed ice sculptures. The Dachstein Skywalk rounds off the winter’s offering. The spectacular observation platform forms the crown of the 250-metre, almost vertical, rock wall of the Hunerkogel. The glass floor of the platform affords every Dachstein Skywalker an unforgettable view over the mountains as well as deep down into the depths.

Living pure in summer

During the summer season every aqi guest receives the Schladming-Dachstein Summer Card free of charge as a special service. Including more than 100 free holiday experiences (cable railways, local public transport, toll roads, museums, lakes, swimming pools and so on) and 70 bonus services, the Summer Card has one of the biggest range of offerings of any inclusive-card in Austria.

In summer the Schladming-Dachstein region is transformed into one of the premier hiking regions in Austria. Unspoilt countryside, lush green alpine valleys, the magnificent limestone walls of the glaciated Dachstein and the countless peaks taking in 300 mountain lakes of the Schladminger Tauern are just waiting to be discovered.

Or experience the Schladming region by bike! The aqi Hotel Schladming is a partner of Roadbike Holidays and offers its own bike tours, maps, road books, elevation profiles, GPS data and a bike station with cleaning material and tools. The bike depot can of course be locked up. Many other sporting activities, such as rafting, paragliding, archery and also the Planai Adventure Park with a rope climbing garden, are all in the immediate vicinity.
