Hotel is nice, but limitedPosted Jul 22, 2014
The hotel was fine. Clean. Polite staff. Not much in close walking distance. Full breakfast was advertised... It is ok, not a lot for gluten-free customers.

The best hotel I've stayed at in a while.Posted Jun 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
Our family travels a lot in the upper Midwest and so has stayed in a variety of hotels. The Country Inn & Suites in Wausau was one of the nicest in my experience. The hotel is located conviently close to major highways, making navigating the community very easy. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed how kindly our two daughters were treated. The continental breakfast was very good. It had all the traditional continental foods - cold cereal, pastries, hard boiled eggs, waffles and juices. The staff also prepared a hot breakfast every day. We were served scrambled eggs and bacon with fried potatoes, biscuits and sausage with chicken patties, French toast and sausage patties and western omelets with hasbrowns. The pool is not large but well kept and the open times were better than most other hotels. I was also delighted to find a small lending library at the front desk. The variety was nice with a lot of children's books as well. The room was very nicely cared for with comfortable clean beds. Overall the hotel was wonderful. They were in the process of remodeling during our stay but we never felt that it interferred with our stay. We will definitely be returning for future visits.

Awesome servicePosted May 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
The guy at the front desk (I feel bad for not remembering his name) was awesome! He was very accommodating and friendly - even called me after we checked out because I accidentally left some shoes in the room! The room itself was good - the only thing was that the bathroom might have been a little cleaner (the grout between the shower tiles specifically, but I understand that it's hard to keep that stuff clean in a hotel). Overall, great stay!

Right in SchofieldPosted May 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
It was great finding a hotel right in Schofield. Our grandson was getting confirmed that weekend. He use to live 1/2 hour away from us but then they moved to Schofield which is 4 hours from us! The room was comfortable and very clean. It would have been nice if there was a small frig in the room but you can't have everything!

Country ComfortPosted Apr 13, 2014
Clean, comfortable and quiet. Those are the 3 most important things to me when I am overnight on business. The waffles in the morning were an added bonus.
