A perfect Bavarian inn -- just what you'd expect. Friendly staff, warm comforters. Warm restaurant with local cuisine.

“Nice hotel, great location, no internet”

The hotel itself is great, and is located very close to the main attractions in Schwangau. The only downer was no internet available in the room; I'm a student, so I couldn't "go" to class online while there. Other than that, good breakfast offered, good clean rooms with mosquito screening for windows, nice water pressure in the shower, and lots of parking. I'll go there again, just not when I have class online!

“Grown up Disney Land”

Could not have been more pleased with location and service. Hotel was clean and friendly. Located so we could see the Neushawnstein Castle from our window. Also able to view the surrounding area from room. Restaurant was great also. We would use this hotel if we have opportunity to return to area.

Great hotel! Very cozy and had an awesome restaraunt with live accordian music. Very close to Castle Neuschwanstein.

“Wonderful Time”

Hotel is a couple of minutes away from the castles and nearby very quaint medieval towns. Wonderful location. Surroundings are picturesque. there was evening entertainment in the hotel restaurant (yes, even some yodeling!) and the morning breakfast buffet was great. No complaints at all and would gladly return. Owners are very friendly and accommodating.

“Magnificent Place”

A very nice and neat hotel with friendly staff who speaks fluent English. What more this hotel is just a couple of Ks from Neurschwanstein castle and you will have view of the castle just from your room window. I had thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would recommend to anyone.

“Stay Here!”

My husband and I travel frequently - and very much like to be off the beaten path. If you are looking for a place that even the locals go to for dinner, then choose to stay here. We had a beautiful view of the country landscape to include the castles! The staff was very friendly. This was what I had expected a quaint German hotel to be like. We were very impressed and would stay here again, if we ever cross this path again.

“Quaint Little German Hotel”

Loved this hotel. It was wery quaint and perfect for this little German town. Checkin was a little odd, but only because it seemed like a family owned hotel and they were also serving dinner in the restaurant. The food in restaurant was very good, and our room was very comfortable. Plenty of room for 3 people. No elevator, but cute spiral staircase. Wish I could have stayed more than one night.
