This is a beautiful small hotel in a lovely setting. Accommodations and service are superb.

“Loved It!”

Lovely hotel on bank of River Ness- short walk to town along the river- hotel staff very nice. We loved our room! Complimentary breakfast wonderful. Take advantage of the walking trails over the small islands in the river that are a short stroll from the hotel- someting you'd definitely miss if you stayed elsewhere.

“Best value I've stayed in in Inverness”

I've stayed in Inverness lots of times - but this is the best value I have had so far. The hotel is a short walk from the station, but just out of the centre so no noise to worry about. Good location by the river. It has a choice of two great restaurants in the building - I ate in Contrast. Wifi access was also included in the Expedia deal. The only downside is the stairs up to the rooms could be a bit narrow if you had a heavy, bulky case. Really enjoyed my stay.

“Very nice”

Hotel is located in a great location... right along the River Ness just a short distance from the Inverness Castle. The restaurants at the hotel are both very nice, and the location makes it very convenient to walk to other restaurants, shops, pubs, the TIC, etc. There is plenty of parking. Rooms are very nice and have turn down service each night. The only thing that I wasn't overly impressed with was the configuration of the bathtub as a shower...accordian style glass panels cover only a portion of the length of the tub, but that was a minor glitch.

“Wonderful place to stay”

Everything about the Glenmoriston was perfect. Great rooms, dining and location.

“Small room, but otherwise fantastic”

The hotel is in a great location, next to the River Ness, and is certainly worth it's 4 star status. We spent a very nice evening sat outside the Piano Bar, overlooking the river and listening to the live music that was being played inside. Our only negative comments would be that the room is slightly on the small side for a hotel of this rating (although it is cleaned several times a day) and there was about a 10-15 minute wait between ordering a cooked breakfast and getting it. Even with these comments, we would certainly stay there again and from what we have seen, we can say that it does fully deserve the Best Hotel in Inverness Award.

“Charming, relaxing Highland Inn”

Again I cannot say enough how much we enjoyed staying here. Our first time to Scotland and we will return. Thank you to all the staff who were so helpful, fun and interesting. The Inn found us a driver to take us to all of the many beautiful places around Inverness and he was just the best ask for Alastair as a driver if you go to the Inn!!

“Great Location”

Was a little difficult to find at first. Just follow the directions for downtown and look for Inverness Castle. It's just below it on the River Ness. Hotel itself was great! Beds in Scotland are not the softest but it was better than most places that I stayed at. The hotel has internet access so you don't have to track down a internet cafe. Food was good and the room was extremely clean. The staff is helpful and friendly.
