Happy HarbourPosted Jun 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
Although slightly off pitch, and hidden round a corner, Harbour House is very comfortable and good value. It was just a pity that breakfast was rushed unnecessarily because nobody realised that there was no 8.12 train on a Sunday. Three hours in Weatherspoon's with the papers solved the wait!

Good basic hotel close to the harbourPosted Feb 27, 2014
Pros: Parking, shown straight to my room, breakfast brought to your room when you want it.
Cons: Not really
Location: 100M from the sea, the drive to Wick is amazing, stunning
If you need a bed for the night and have a hearty breakfast brought to your room then stay here. It's basic, clean, friendly . I always arrive late and it's no problem. Park right outside.

Better than averagePosted Nov 7, 2013
Excellent service, small room, comfortable. Boxes on forms such as this that force you to add more than is necessary should be done away with.

Great breakfast and new bathroom but the remainder of the room was a little aged.

A Little GrubbyPosted Jul 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very friendly service and excellent location plus plenty of tea, coffee etc in room along with good tv and.shower. Decent breakfast served bang on time. Let down by the cleanliness- cobwebs, dirt broken windows, dust. Not hard to sort, and if they did this place would be much better.

War-weary WickPosted Jul 16, 2013
Pros: Welcome, breakfast
Cons: Area, shower
Location: At Harbourside, mixed residential/industrial
Not in the best area of town but owners work hard to provide a welcome. Flat was clean and breakfast excellent. Our room was on 2nd floor, staircase fairly steep, not ideal for infirm

Nice b&b. Better looking on the inside than the outside. Nice to have breakfast brought to our room. Lack of good curtains made it hard to sleep at night as the sun hardly sets in summer.

Fantastic value sea viewsPosted May 31, 2013
Pros: Cooked breakfast, clean and spacious room
Cons: Polyester bedding made it quite warm
Location: Excellent location with a big Tesco 5 minutes drive away and easy access to the town centre
This hotel is located on the harbour with free parking outside 24/7. The rooms are up two flights of stairs with no lift. The room was very clean with a lovely view across the harbour. Breakfast is brought to your door having ordered the night before and you eat it in your bedroom. Cooked breakfast is included at no extra charge. There is free wifi and the centre of Wick is just a short walk away with easy access to cafes, restaurants and tourist attractions. The bedding is polyester which can get a bit warm and as it's so far north it takes a bit longer to get dark in the summer so with no blacklining on the curtains the room can seem quite light when you are ready to sleep. However, overall these are minor things. I would recommend this to anyone looking for exceptional service at a very competitive price.
