the accomadation was spotlessly clean ,updated very comfortable the bed was very cosey.the room very spacious and warm on a cold chilly night.Restarant and bar fully liscenced and the food was deliciouse.

Such friendly staff and first class service, very helpful and accommodating. Child friendly everywhere which makes such a difference. First trip back to my birth place in 54 years and the Hotel and Staff made me so welcome and provided anything I needed and when I needed it. Proper service !

Really nice place to stay, friendly and helpful staff, plenty of parking spaces, rooms can be a bit noisy sometimes, great breakfast and good value evening meal options, will definitely stay again.

It’s not like there are a lot of places to stay up this way so I’m happy for whatever I could get. That said, the restaurant was excellent with great food, very reasonable prices, and fabulous service. I feel there are a few ways the property could improve. The rickety shower hangers with the pump bottles of “hair and body shampoo” for instance. Nothing will stay in them / they just fall through the metal ribs and there are no shelves. Those pump bottles are very hard to use in the shower, and they don’t lather up very much. Please provide actual soap and hair conditioner, too - you advertise bath amenities but you give us…shower caps and pump soap. Ever try to wash your makeup off with pump soap? Also the room walls are paper thin. I heard the guests in the next room rolling down their blinds and plugging something into the outlets. Oh pillows… are like straw. You need to get something more comfortable. But when you’re one of the only games in town, I guess it doesn’t matter. Overall I would stay again and bring my own amenities.

The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, there were several options for breakfast (and all of them looked great), and it is reasonably close to the train station and the center of town. The only downside: walls could be thicker or better insulated as we could hear the guests staying next to us while they were speaking.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff here. Had a really late check in on Sunday, no problem. Karen at breakfast was super friendly and helpful, good selection of breakfast options too. Room was comfortable, clean and quiet (other than some knob ends coming back from the bar on Wednesday night and deciding to do some door slamming before having a row in their room). Good menu for evening as well, staff super friendly and helpful, could always get a table too. Will definitely stay again.

Nice hotel in the centre of Thurso room was good size although put in the disabled room not sure why so bathroom was huge but full of disabled equipment dinner in the evening was good as was breakfast and friendly staff

The Park Hotel was a comfortable stay after a long day on the road. We particularly enjoyed the restaurant and had a fabulous dinner there. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was basic but clean and spacious.

FABULOUS FANTASTIC
Our stay at The Park Hotel was excellent. Warm and welcoming staff set the tone right at the door. We arrived about 7pm, so after checking in we popped right into the pub for dinner. It was fantastic, fresh and full of flavor. We started with prawns, i had mussels and hubby had duck, every bite was wonderful. We had some local beer and just had to try the Sticky Toffee Pudding, delicious. We walked upstairs to our lovely, well appointed room. It had a king size bed,large bathroom and every inch had been recently updated. The towels were bath sheets, what a luxury. Plenty of hot water for showers. The bedding was very good quality and comfy. It was a quiet night and we slept well. In the morning we had hot breakfasts that did not disappoint and plenty of hot coffe We recommend The Park Hotel and would absolutely book it again.

The property needs a bit of tlc The one lady that was working deserves a medal bless her she was doing everything No food available on a night as no chef available to cook I would not recommend anyone to stay there at this time

Hi there, I'm a little confused by this review as I remember you having dinner as we over charged you through a simple error which I corrected and you seemed perfectly happy and shook my hand and thanked me for bringing the mistake to your attention. I'm also male so I can only assume that maybe during your trip you've been to a few places and have simply mistaken us for somewhere else. Hopefully that is the case and you are able to amend this review.

Enjoyable stay at smart hotel
Excellent stay at a very smart hotel. Rooms, bar and restaurant all well appointed and very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast and the the two evening meals were also very good.
