Host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were tasty and provided plenty of options. Only improvement might be to a gathering space for groups staying at the B&B to enjoy time together.

We only booked one night here due to a flight being moved to the next day, but I wish we could have stayed longer. It is a nice property and the owner Kenny is great, very accommodating to our special requests with the early morning checkout to make our flight, and even booked the taxi for us. We would definitely recommend this property.

Terrific Inverness Stay
Superb accommodation and host. It was obvious that Kenny was well prepared in developing a comfortable and accommodating lodging and preparing guests for exploring the surrounding area.

Considering you stayed for 2 days most of the time spent solely in your room I am Surprised you never had the thought to mention this too me !?Even though I asked you several times was everything okReference window it does open and close And a normal person would say can you help me!God knows what you did to the rugYour other comments don’t even warrant a reply I think you need to get a life Being a old bitter woman does not help youI note also that you failed to mention that I had to call the police on your behaviour and refusal to pay I had to follow you along road into the town centre asking for payment and calling the police in the process Who does that with there young grandaugterI would imagine she was mortified I suspect that this performance you put on is not the first time you have played this gameI have been running this guest house for 15 years and never had these comments from any other guest It was obvious in your behaviour you were trying it on

Very warm welcome.
We stayed for one night. We received a lovely friendly welcome and were shown to our room. The room was immaculate and well equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast was ordered in the evening so was served promptly in the morning. It was delicious and there was lots of choice. If we are back in Inverness we'll certainly stay here again.

Nice rooms, very clean, great location in short walking distance to the center. The owner was incredibly helpful and accommodating, the freshly cooked hot breakfast with a considerable buffet is far more than one could expect for a free one.

Staying here was like being at home with lots of personal care and wonderful things to see! A shoutout to the owner, his breakfast’s were wonderful and his attention to the smallest details on where to go for entertainment made it a fantastic place to visit!

Wonderful host; good location
Kenny welcomed us with a smile and good conversation. He had explained in an earlier email that the room was small, and he was correct. We did have a small room, but it was comfortable and clean, and we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. The breakfast was cooked to order and to perfection, with a good variety of options. The location was only a 10-15 minute walk from the middle of town while also having easy access to the main highway (A9) and the Culloden battlefield. On-street parking was available in front of the B&B and required a permit. The small, paper permit Kenny allowed us to use was attached to a plastic board about 4 feet by 3 feet as a reminder to return the permit upon departure.

Kenny, our host, was very welcoming and friendly. The property is very well maintained and clean. It is a 10 minute walk into the city center. Bed was very comfortable, towels were the perfect size and thickness. The bathroom amenities were of good quality. There was a full breakfast offering of cold and hot food, fruits plus cheeses & yogurt in the fridge. This was one of our best stays during our Scotland trip.

Short motorcycle trip around Scotland. I could not have chosen a better place to stay in Inverness than the Silverstrands guest house. Furthermore, the host - Kenny - could not possibly have been more helpful and friendly. All in all a perfect night's accommodation and breakfast.

Very good location to explore Inverness. Walkable to river & main st. We had a surprising couple of days exploring & the b&b was a in nice quiet area with some new cafes & shops. Kenny, the owner was an excellent host & was very accommodating with regards to COVID. Felt safe there.
