“Great Hotel and Great Price”

Excellent Experience with this Motel. The front desk staff Mr. Patel was very polite and very helpful. I would recommend this motel to anyone...Very clean and very comfortable bed to sleep in. It was the best price in the area of Northeast Alabama!

“A good find and very conscienscious owners”

If rating this experience was based on ownership pride, I'd rate this hotel very highly. We made a very late arrival and were greeted promptly and courteously. Our host walked us to our room and turned on lights and a/c. We were very appreciative of the special touch. The room was satisfactorily cleaned and apportioned, except for the mildewed shower curtain. We could have used more towels, but overall a good room. Beds were on the generous size and very comfortable. Plenty of closet space and a nice stand alone wardrobe. Ironing board, hair dryer, fridge, microwave and coffee station were nice ammenities although did not need on this overnight reservation. Would stay again, but would like to have a better choice of breakfast items as we were told that breakfast was served until 10:00. We dined at the 8:00 hour and were left with bread, jam, 2 choices of dry cereal, a little o j and one cereal bowl for the two of us. The pastry tray was left empty and I assume the earlier diners had more to choose from... Except for the continuous a/c fan, the room was quiet. Black out curtains were a little short, so I used rolled bath towels to block out the remaining street light.

The room was a comfortable, non-smoking double bed. The air conditioning was running when we arrived. It was easy to get into the room. We arrived late but were treated very well by the manager. The price was very reasonable. I would gladly stay there again.

“Reasonable price hotel with few amenities”

A hotel sold to ABVI and then renovated with some services not provided. Want fresh towels or room made up daily? Dont stay here. Dont care if someone doesnt cater to your every whim but will make sure your room is neat and clean when you check in? Stay here. Want a room that is cleaned, bed made, trash removed, etc., daily without fail? Stay in another place that charges almost twice the price. Want a room to stay in with most amenities optional but has safe secure rooms with nice beds and television and coffee maker, fridge and microwave and WIFI available and not to mention reasonable prices? Stay here. Although not ideal for long term if you have been used to more luxurious surroundings, this place is ideal for a business traveler or sportsman (bountiful fishing and hunting very close by) who just need a nice place to hang out at night. No problems the last three trips here for business.

“Nice cheap hotel for a comfortable stay”

The hotel was clean and well furnished. I know that this chain of motels vary greatly in comfort and appearance but this one was very nice. The manager greeted me for a late check in and I had no problems. Like most ABVI motels this one is a renovated chain hotel. There is food nearby within a minute or two walk. Clean, friendly and comfortable. What else is there? However, your experience may vary.

“NEVER again!”

The tub had mold around it. The bed sagged to the middle. The AC was loud and inefficient. The check-in staff was curt. Breakfast choices were stale cereal; powdered/choc donuts from the grocery store and 3 slices of stale bread. There was no juice, no tea and only regular coffee. (We drink decaf) Will NEVER go to this brand name again.
