"Very nice hotel close to the city, but not in it!"
My mom and I stayed here for 5 nights, knowing we would probably only be here to sleep and eat breakfast, those were the two main things we were looking for. The beds were VERY comfortable as expected from a Hampton Inn.a The Breakfast Buffet was a good variety of hot and cold breakfast items for 'on the go' or sit down.
One thing that we were really impressed with was the personable staff, whether it was the front desk staff or the breakfast staff, ALL were very friendly and polite. The only thing we wished the room had was a little refrigerator for our leftovers, but other than that, everything was awesome!

"One of my many visits to Scottsdale to see family."
Hotel was clean. Room and bed very comfortable. Able to sleep well AND get work done. Good, free WIFI and plenty of electrical outlets, well placed to plug in computer, chargers, Ipad, etc. Breakfast ran until 10 AM, quality was good to above average considering the price (free). Great variety of food items, no problem with food or quality. Daily evening snack (which I consistently missed) is a nice feature. Clean bathroom with plenty of soaps and shampoo/conditioner.
Room lighting was above average and was quite good (rooms are usually underlit in most places)
Staff overall very friendly and polite...EVERYONE! I usually stay at Fairfield Inn which is much closer to my family's home but for the same price, I would rather stay at Hampton. The extra driving distance was negated by the extra comfort, cleanliness and great employee attitude at Hampton Inn.
