Anna (Meridian Condos Manager) was very helpful.
The condo and the grounds were very nice. The condo was large, well furnished and had every amenity that we needed.
One recommendation - Replace all the carpeting with ceramic tile with area rugs or wood laminate. The carpeting was light colored and stained. Ceramic tile and/or wood laminate would be better.

Yes, the hotel is a little tired; it looks like a converted Embassy Suites. But...it is great value for the price. The location can't be beat. Parking is NOT a problem. I was there when two large conventions were going on but there were still parking spots in the rear lot. Ok...you have to walk about a 100 yards!! The breakfast did not have a lot of variety but you could get eggs, pancakes, bacon, and sausage (included in your room charge) and plenty of coffee and juice. Lots of towels available at each of the two pools. A very friendly staff. When I asked for early cleaning of my room, they had a maid there within 10 minutes. All in all...I would definitely stay there again.

This was my favorite property out of the 4 hotels on our trip. The suites make it so easy to have everything you need while traveling...there are laundry facilities and a beautifully decorated pool area with lots of places to sit including a gas fireplace for the cooler evenings. Staff were happy to help however they could.

Though we live in Arizona (Flagstaff), we hadn't been in Phoenix for many years. We drove down with two bicycles and spent three days bicycling the Canal Trail (down to the Old Town River Walk area) and another green strip trail that extends all the way down to Tempe. We ate a pleasant lunch one late afternoon at Crust - Home of the Rustica at the strip-mall corner of Hayden and Indian Bend (near Albertsons); another lunch at PF Chang's off Indian School Rd (River Walk area); a dinner at the Hotel Valley Ho (ZuZu Lounge) on Main Street, Old Scottsdale... and, our final night, we were so tired we just got take-out food from Goldman's Deli near the corner of Hayden and Indian Bend (where we generally unloaded our bicycles to start each day's venture). We liked them all - even Goldman's Deli was excellent for our purposes. We also had a drink at Zinc's on the Kierland Plaza - another spot to recommend. We did not take advantage of the Athletic Center, though it's quite extensive.
