Room was nice and clean. Walls are a bit thin but overall a very nice hotel. Close to highway and colleges as well as shopping. Plenty of parking

Ok for 1 night stayPosted Jun 5, 2015
If you're looking for something close to Univ. of Scranton, having a short stay and really don't care about accommodations then stay here. (From the outside the place looks really run down). If you want to have a more decent stay and don't mind being 10min away from Scranton, drive up two exits and stay at the Comfort Suites!!

Convenient to AVPPosted Jun 1, 2015
Location: Pizza place across the street and ice cream shop 2 doors down was the best!
The room we stayed in was OK, the bed was comfortable and overall not too bad. However the bathroom was small and there was hair all over the floor around the toilet. I bent to clean it as it was gross and I saw that behind the toilet had not been cleaned in awhile. There was a girls ponytail band and all sorts of hair and dust! Disgusting. There was also hair in the bathtub. We stayed 4 nights and it was pretty quiet even on Saturday night. The rooms could also use a refrigerator. Best part is the Mannings Ice Cream shop across the street!

Decent and affordable - parking lot across streetPosted Apr 23, 2015
Pros: Location and relatively affordable cost
Cons: TV didn't work Site should clearly indicate no hotel parking but parking available across street
Location: 2 mins to subway Walking distance (within10-15 mins) from cafes and restaurants.
1. LOCATION pros: 2 minute walk from subway train, within 10-15 min walk from Chinatown and Little Italy (so many food options). The street is quite lively with people, even at night. It is within a close distance to the Holland tunnel out of the city, so leaving at around 7AM, I had no problems getting out. - Location cons: NO HOTEL PARKING! Parking is done at a private lot across the street. Due to the only entrance for it being surrounded by one way streets, I'd recommend entering " broome st and suffolk st" into the GPS. - It is 32 dollars for 24 hours. When you arrive in the lot, you empty your car and give your car key to the attendant who then gives you a receipt. You get your key /car back when you return the receipt/ pay. I'd recommend perhaps holding onto your car papers and maybe bring a spare car key incase you have trust issues (like I did). - NOTE: parking lot attendant is only there during business hours (7/8AM-10PM) 2. STAFF: very friendly and professional. They were able to accommodate my request for early check in (1PM instead of 3PM) 3. ROOM: The room was small ( which is expected in manhattan I guess) but cozy. The only problem I had with it was my TV didn't work. Wi-Fi worked pretty well.

No food options. Staff was friendly, but the other guests were inconsiderate and we were unable to sleep at night, due to people slamming doors and running in the hallways the entire night. Only 1 elevator was working. Restaurant didn't have any choices and service was terrible. Staff was polite and friendly. Breakfast not included and not too many choices near the hotel. Chinese food across the street a strong avoid!! Awful food. Overall bad experience.
