Nice hotel in a scenic location.Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: Location is great, service was very good.
Cons: Heated pool should be a little more heated :)
Location: Damon's restaurant next door, Krispy Kreme across the street - beautiful view of the mountains from the outdoor terrasse.
We stopped in Scranton on our way back to Montreal from Florida. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Halfway stop offPosted Jul 26, 2015
Me and my two young sons stopped here halfway on a road trip. Worked out good, went swimming for a while, hit fitness center for a bit and went next door to Damon's for dinner which was good. Fitness center was just average but everything else was good.

Nice hotel.Posted Jul 14, 2015
The directions to the pool weren't clearly labeled. The pool seemed like it was in a forgotten corner. I would have liked directions on the second floor to breakfast not just the room number on the elevator. Overall a good experience and I would stay there again.

smelled like cat urine and cigarette smokePosted Jun 28, 2015
Location: we were there for a Kid Rock concert at Montage Mountain
Hit with smell of cat urine as soon as we walked in. It was really bad. Also, non smoking room smelled like smokers just left, the whole floor stank of smoke as soon as we got off the elevator. Even the towels stank and made my hair smell like smoke after I used it. Was planning on sleeping in, however the condition of the room drove us out of there by 8:00 am. Was not asked how was your room? when we checked out. She was rather surly and probably could smell the cat pee on us, so she didn't want to ask. My suggestion would be to tear the place down and build a new one. Thanks so much.

Nice hotel in a convenient location.Posted Jun 12, 2015
Pros: Great beds with really nice bedding, very clean rooms, very friendly and courteous staff. Pet friendly.
Cons: Add more fresh fruit items to the continental breakfast.
Location: The Gourmet Restaurant across the street has great breakfast at very reasonable prices if you're not into the free continental breakfast.
We stayed here while visiting family in Pennsylvania. It's a nice hotel, although I booked a King room and when I checked in was told that all pet friendly rooms were two double bed rooms. This may be because I booked on Expedia. The room was clean and tended to daily. The front desk staff were all very friendly and courteous. The only problem was that our room keys stopped working several times and one time was at night so it was a bit inconvenient because we were parked at the rear of the building and had to go back to the car and drive around to the front. What I REALLY appreciated was that they only charged us the pet fee for one night, and we stayed for four nights. This was a great gesture and I was very grateful. Beds were very comfortable and had really nice lightweight down comforters and nice soft sheets. There is a restaurant next door to the hotel (Damon's) which is hotel owned, and you get 10% off your bill for staying at this Ramada. You just need to show your room key. We ate there once, food was good. They also offer a nice free continental breakfast, but I suggest adding a few more fresh fruits. A Ramada we stayed in on our way up had fresh grapefruit which was great. The Clarks Summit location only had apples and oranges, but the did have rye bread for toast which was great, because you don't see that in many hotels. Overall, a very pleasant stay. We would absolutely stay here again.

Quiet and ComfortablePosted May 27, 2015
Pros: Privacy and the bed was amazing!!!
Cons: Maybe the cleaning, there were some cobwebs in the corner nothing major.
Location: It is right next door to an amazing restaurant called Damon's. The food was spectacular and so were the martini's!!
The only issue I had with this hotel was the fact that they kept "authorizing" payments on my card for the amount of my room. It happened twice, once the manager came in she took care of it and I got my money back. But it took two days and there were two charges. Other than that the room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly I would stay there again.
