Hotel very close to the casino & shopping mall.Posted Dec 3, 2013
Pros: The hotel was nice it provided you within the motel 2 dinning area's and 3 bars including one night club. All without leaving the Hotel.
Cons: Post pics based on what you are buying. Not the best of what they have.
Location: Mall and the Casino.
Hotel stay very nice. I was a little disappointed in the room pic they showed on Expedia, thought there was a hot tub in the room as shown on the site. But latter found out that is not what I booked. Room was still nice and the hotel upgraded me free of charge to a stream side room "minus the hot tub", based on availability.

Mohegan Sun Casino TripPosted Nov 10, 2013
Pros: Rates very high on cleanliness and comfort. They seemed to have an amazing number of staff for housekeeping and maintenance.
Cons: Lack of HDTV in tower rooms a letdown. Water pressure sink and shower very low -- was this because I was top floor or possibly everywhere?
Location: Mohegan Sun at Pocono Casino
The bed was so comfortable I slept for 11 hours (and I rarely sleep more than 6). The complimentary buffet breakfast and complimentary cocktail were nice touches that I did not expect. There was also a coupon for $25 off next stay. All of the staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help in any way they could.

Nice change of pacePosted Nov 7, 2013
This is a good option if you need to be in the Wilkes Barre area. My only complaint is that the room and bathroom are quite small for a place that isn't in a major city where real estate is at a premium.

Close to everything. Secluded enough for privacy.Posted Oct 26, 2013
Very relaxing. Nice complimentary breakfast and drink coupons are an added bonus. Needed a place close to casino but felt like we were deep in the forest. Very nice.

Woodlands has it all.Posted Aug 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
We have stayed several times at the Woodlands. We enjoy the 2 restaurants that are in the resort. Also, the outdoor pool and indoor pool. Everyone is very friendly and work hard to make your stay enoyable.. When we need to destress, we find our way to the Woodlands. The only complaint we had this trip is that they definitely need new pillows. The ones in our room were soft and mushy.

Nice stop on a long drivePosted Jul 31, 2013
Pros: The creek, staff, outdoor pool. Interesting décor. Very convenient computer in the lobby.
Cons: I had a hurt knee and would have liked more advance warning when walking to the restaurants/conference area about all the steep stairs.
Location: I just stopped along the highway but I note there is a casino nearby. I don't think this would be a resort destination.
I was looking for a place to break my journey, wanted a safe, pleasant room, a nice swim and a good meal. I got most of that. The restaurant was closed for individual diners due to preparations for a private party. The outdoor pool is an oasis. The physical plant is a little downtrodden. On the plus side, the creekside location is lovely and the staff is capable, professional and very nice. This is not exactly a garden spot, but the price is great.
