“Excellent accomodations”
We stayed at a High Hammock unit and even though it was probably the lowest level of all of the units in Seabrook, it was very spacious, clean, quiet and had everything we needed. The amenities are excellent, the resort is excellent, will definitely stay again.
“Very nice plus great value”
Very convenient to Kiawah Island and much better value!
“Great beach spot”
Our stay with Resort Quest properties on Seabrook Island was lovely. We had a terrific unit over looking the beach and it was nice and quite and very clean & spacious. Having two baths was a real bonus for our family. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils and so we enjoyed having dinner on our deck (facing the beach) while watching the beautiful sunsets. We would definitely go back.
“Nice condo!”
This isn't a hotel room, it's a vacation condo in a resort community. Beach isn't nearby, but short car or bicycle ride will get you close. Facilities aren't bad, though no indoor pools and only the childrens' pool was heated. Guests are treated to all the standard amenities offered by the resort including the health club, pools, beach access, and many others. Other amenities such as tennis, horseback riding and golf are available but are fairly pricey. All in all, it was a wonderful place to stay and we will definitely do it again.
“We would like to return to the area.”
We did not stay in a hotel. We stayed in a duplex. We had our own space with kitchen, dining, living, and sunroom. It was off season, so there were very few people around. We did find both dead and living bugs, but that can be expected in any house. There was one bedroom window that wouldn't stay locked. Resort Quest staff were nice and they were helpful with locating restuarants, shopping, etc in the area.
“Nice, but bugs.”
Room was pretty nice for the price. However, we saw several cockroachs during our stay. This certainly put a damper on our enthusiasm for the room. I'm not sure if we would stay there again or not.
“Not impressed with the condo for the price I paid”
Definately could not check in before 4:00. I wish I would have known that. We arrived early thinking we could hang out at the pool, and check in early. It rained all day, and ResortQuest didn't budge on getting us in early. Our condo was not very plush; no ceiling fans in the rooms, outdated fixtures- the owner obviously doesn't come here much. All in all, the view was pleasant of the marsh and creek, and we enjoyed our stay. I wish the beach was closer- definately a drive away. We enjoyed the beach club, and would stay again here, although at another complex. I expected nicer accommodations for the price I paid.
“Not impressed”
1. No information given about where to check in. Had to call Expedia to find out where to pick up key and sign in. 2. Key would not open the unit. Had to wait 1+/- hr. to gain access to unit. (Caused us to be late to wedding rehearsal.) 3. HVAC system went out on second day. Temperature in the unit reached 83 degrees. Had to make 2 calls to get repairs done to the system.
“Not impressed”
We had initial problems with fact that we could not close the blinds in either bedroom!Unfortunately this put damper on "Romance" and sleep(wondering if we were on display for whoever walked by!)Plus utilizing the bathroom was compromised as well. We also reported right away there was no dvd player which had really excited our children initially becuse of the movie we were able to chose.Final problem was lack of air conditioning....it struggled at best to keep up ...& fell WAY short!
