Vintage but well keptPosted Mar 3, 2015
We wanted to combine a fun trip to the city with the need to be poised for an early morning appointment at V.M. The Inn is well placed for the latter and we easily walked to the movies and dining spots. The Inn is old, but is well preserved, and it has appropriate modern updates. It was very clean and quiet and I would easily recommend it to anyone.

Close enough downtown to walk. Decent comfort.Posted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: Quaintness. Quite. Location.
Cons: Not too sound-proof from other guests...but this isn't a noisy crowd.
Location: Downtown Seattle...Pike Place Market 15 minute walk depending on how in shape you are. Various coffee shops and other amenities on that 15 minute.
Hotel is owned by Virginia Mason hospital and gets guests who are involved in hospital for various reasons. However, they also get plenty of other "regular" kind of guests. It's an old property, but nicely maintained. Converted from apartments. It's definitely not for you if you're looking for upscale and trendy. But if you just want the basic comforts in a clean, tidy, step-up from budget motels/hotels, this is very nice. You can walk to downtown in 15 minutes (although it's down-hill so you'll be walking back up when you return and the hills are steep--not for you if you're not in good shape). Quite neighborhood. Has food service. You can look in to hospital rooms if you've got a back room. No biggy. You're not there for the view. Keep your gauzy shades closed. Still let in light. Parking is downhill one block...about $20 night. Had not problem finding a space. Interestingly enough, a lot of the rooms have twin beds, not full or queen. Again, for us, no problem. It's quaint

Comfortable hotel close to hospitals.Posted Feb 6, 2015
Pros: I enjoyed the professional, helpful front desk staff. I didn't have to leave the building to get to my doctors or room.
Cons: I would appreciate a small micro wave where I could heat up water for my tea.
Location: The location is great. They offer underground parking, bus service right across the street.
I stayed here one night because I had pre-op appts for surgery. I would not stay here and pay the price if it was not for convenience of medical care.

Nice hotel very close to Harborview Medical CenterPosted Jan 24, 2015
Pros: The hotel was within walking distance to Harborview. The room was comfortable for sleeping and getting ready.
Cons: The only concern were the outlets. When you plug or unplug something, it would slide in or out very easily on its own. The outlets were very loose.
Location: For our purpose, having Harborview hospital and the St. James Cathedral within a few blocks was very important.
The experience was overall good. We needed a place close to the hospital that we could call home for 4 nights.

Excellent location and staff.Posted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: Location, friendly staff, classic charm.
Cons: Ice machines on more than the first floor.
The Inn is a charming older hotel and is extremely well maintained and clean. As is typical of hotels from this era, there is limited counter space in the bathroom. The in-house restaurant is currently closed but there are many options close by. There is indoor access to Virginia Mason Hospital, which makes it ideal for patients and their supporting family or friends who are from out of town. Parking is available within one block.

My stay at the InnPosted Jan 3, 2015
Pros: Everything: great staff, very convenient when visiting the hospital.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind
Location: My reason for being there was to be with a family member in the hospital
I have stayed at the Inn before and have always found it to be excellent. Great staff, very convenient when a patient at the hospital.

good seattle hotelPosted Jan 3, 2015
Stayed here with a couple friends after a night out on Capitol Hill. Not the nicest hotel ever but for what we wanted, it was a perfect hotel. Very conveniently located in relation to Cap Hill. Staff was also very nice and helpful.

Pros: A hidden jem in the city. Room service and food very inexpensive
Location: A few blocks away from downtown stores or Seattle University. Close to Pike' s Market and attached to Virginia Mason Hospital
A family member was in Virginia Mason Hospital. It was very convenient for visits. Parking was nearby and room service and food were good enough to stay in. Although the Inn is very old, it does have charm.

Good Hotel LocationPosted Dec 20, 2014
Pros: The central location and the fact that it was located right by the hospital.
Cons: I would say parking and there was no eating facility in the inn at the time. I believe they said it was under renovation.
Location: There were lots of stores, and walking was good which is a plus to get around in that area where parking was not readily available.
This is a good hotel, close to the Virginia Mason Hospital, which is what we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful and made our stay pleasant.
