strange.... hotel that is attached to a hospitalPosted Jul 31, 2015
Pros: small...not huge like most hotels
Cons: make it more user friendly for handicapped
Location: only there for a concert and couldn't wait to leave....not the hotel but the city itself
Not very user friendly if you have mobility issues. It is quaint outside of that.Traffic is gridlock if there are any games or concerts

Up the hill, but close to the action.Posted Jul 28, 2015
This hotel was a little out of the way and quiet. A good walk home from Pike Place market. Front desk was very personable, room was a little dated, but clean and comfortable. Only had one night, would have enjoyed another. Did not try room service, but prices were very reasonable.

Very acceptable, given the cost.Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: Cost. Cleanliness and size of room. Generous TV channel options. Decent location.
Cons: Staff could be more attentive. The entrance's steps aren't easy to negotiate if one is hobbled.
Location: I was visiting friends in Seattle, so this wasn't relevant as we did sightseeing by car.
The bedroom was clean and more than large enough, and the bathroom was very satisfactory. The TV channel options were well above average, much better than costlier hotels in such cities as Denver and Chicago. Meal options and quality were limited, partly because the hotel restaurant on the ground floor was still under preparation (this seems to have been the status for a long time). The coffee shop's food (a block away) was poor, and this was the restaurant the hotel staff recommended if one didn't want to us the hospital's cafeteria. Hotel staff, while polite, was somewhat below average in attentiveness and resourcefulness. I would stay again because of cost, and because of the size and comfort of the room. The hotel describes itself honestly on its website. What you received was fairly represented. Caveat: there are several steps that must be negotiated to enter the hotel. No ramp is provided. Hotel staff is not instructed to assist guests. This is surprising as the hotel is linked to a hospital and clearly has guests undergoing current orthopedic care.

Nice Hotel, close to city centrePosted Jul 21, 2015
Pros: Cost effective
Cons: Not at the price
Location: Fish Market, City centre
Excellent, comfortable, friendly, helpful. There is really no more to add. A pity about the hill, but that probably made the hotel a little more exclusive. It would be good if they could refrain from putting up prices, value for money is better than excessive profits.

Pratique et fonctionnelPosted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: Quartier central

Wonderful architecture, grand hotel w/ great charmPosted Jul 15, 2015
Pros: Room service is an outstanding value. Character of the hotel cannot be beat. Close to downtown.
Location: Close to the Swedish Hospital and Virginia Mason Hospital. Close to downtown (Pike Market),the baseball ballpark & the football stadium and Seattle U.
We loved the charming atmosphere of this hotel located close enough to Pike Market Place to walk. Even the walk back was not bad--but some people might prefer a cab ride back. The room service is outstanding. Unbelievable prices, great tasting food, quick service and tips are not accepted. The hotel only has one elevator. It is a bit slow at times but tolerable. Highly recommend this hotel.

Heat in SeattlePosted Jul 13, 2015
Location: A long downhill and uphill walk to the warf.
This hotel has no air conditioning and the temperature outside was 95 degrees. The staff could have cared less. The staff was not helpful in any way. I would not recommend a stay at this hotel.

Walkable to Pike market and duck boats. Original room had some water dripping from a pipe in the ceiling but we were quickly upgraded at no additional cost.
