“Almost good location”

Hotel is about 20 minutes walk to Pike Place and other downtown shopping. A few places nearby which is a plus(+) are WholeFoods, West Elm and an Asian restaurant.

Area recommendations

Pike Place. Because it is famous and there are lots of nice, local items to buy. Downtown Shopping area. Lots of well-known stores, movie theaters and you can spend all day here.

“Close to everything and affordable”

My boyfriend and I were able to take the train from the airport to downtown and walk .6 miles to the hotel. It was not a bad walk and with someone else I felt safe. We walked to the Seattle center (the needle and museum) and the aquarium and Pike Place. There was a whole foods close by and Zeek pizza place was delicious. Our hotel bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the free breakfast! The hotel is small and dated but clean. It was great for a budget!!! The staff was courteous and I loved the maple trees in the front of our hotel. I would stay here again!

Getting around

We went to Seattle center and took the monorail several times back and forth to Pikes Place Market.

“Will stay again.”

Excellent service and room. Especially liked the fact that the sauna fitness room and jacuzzi are open 24 hours.

Area recommendations

Pikes Place, Seattle Space Needle. Recommend going to. The Melting Pot for a great dinner.

“really?”

I booked the hotel thinking the price they told me was the price I would pay. I get there and its $10 for every vehicle to park in their lot. Really?

“It's a good hotel for its location”

It is a fine and servicible hotel. It's about half-way between Seattle Center and Downtown Seattle, but it's a hike either direction. It's just outside the "nice" part of downtown. It is small, but adequate if you don't plan to spend much time in the hotel. People at the hotel are helpful and friendly. If you're looking for luxury or convenience, try closer to downtown. If you are looking for an economical base while visiting Seattle, try here.

“Great hotel Great location”

Walking distance to everything. Just blocks from the Space Needle and public transportation, and the Ducks! IF I'm ever in Seattle again I'll most definitely stay here. The Continental breakfast was good too. The desk staff really knew their way around, and gave excellent directions (including knowing the numbers of the bus routes I was going to use). I also liked the complimentary newspaper every morning, PLUS they have MSNBC as one of the TV choices.

Area recommendations

The whole city is great. Take the Duck tour for an overview and then work from there.

Getting around

Use the free buses whenever you can. There is no charge from 6am to 7pm Mon - Fri. Make sure to take the cheap ferry to Bainbridge Island. It's like Martha's Vineyard on the West Coast!

Dining

Hitchcock's on Bainbridge Island is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at!

“First trip to Seattle”

The hotel was located very close to the Space Needle and transportation to Pike Market; it was clean, the staff friendly, and the complementary breakfast much more than rolls and coffee. Would definitely stay there again. Great value for the money.
