“Comfortable and convenient”
The hotel is not fancy, but it is comfortable and clean. It is very close to the space needle and the price is right for business needs. They also manage group meetings really well, we had our company meeting there this past week and the office manager was really easy to work with and went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed.
“Would love to visit again!!!!”
My sister and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and they were quick to satisfy our every desire. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Seattle. This hotel is right in the heart of the downtown. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We did not get a chance to eat in the restaurant. If we ever go back again, will gladly stay at this hotel.
“Nice place to stay”
The inn was nice and close to Seattle Center and Key Arena. The room was comfortable and warm. They could offer free bottled water and tea as an alternative to the coffee. But the mattresses were nice and firm but not enough blankets. The breakfast buffet at the restaurant was nicely priced and I would stay there again.
“Close to everything downtown, ballard and university district.”
Older hotel with excellent room upgrades. Very comfortable beds and room amenities. Will definitely stay here again. You have to see the 5 Point Cafe right around the corner from the hotel.
“Staying near the Space Needle”
The hotel was fine except I thought the bed was too firm and pillows almost hard. The Space needle was right across from our window. Pretty neat, especially at night.
“Clogged drains and poor desk staff”
Great location to the Seattle Center. We had two rooms, and both of them had serious shower drain problems. The front desk was understaffed at the two times we needed them. They communicated poorly with us about the town car they ordered for us. They could have tried a bit harder at no expense to their bottomline.
“a comfortable hotel close to the Space Needle”
Clean and comfortable hotel located within walking distance (15-20 minutes)from Seattle downtown attractions and 5 minutes of walk from Space Needle and Monorail Terminal. Substantial breakfast served daily for a decent price ($8). Friendly staff and ready to help
“Not Impressed.”
It was not worth its price.
“Near the Space Needle”
The hotel is located in an ideal location if you're only concern is proximity to the Space Needle. I would assume this building dates from the 1962 World's Fair - and it shows. The rooms are small and dingy, the elevators are SLOW, and the entire place is messy. On the first night of our stay there were dishes in the hallway from room service. Okay, it's only 3:00pm. When the same dishes were still in the hallway at 7:00am what's the excuse? That same night a small child was throwing a fit in the next room. That was really something to listen to for the better part of two hours. When we asked for the desk to call us a cab they instead called an unlicensed towncar that ended up blowing us off anyway. For the price there has to be something better, WAY better. Spend your time and money somewhere else. You'll be glad you did.
“Location is the only good thing....”
If you plan on sleeping in past 8 am.....DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL. The hotel maids and housekeeping came around each and every morning we were there (and we spent 5 nights) and cleaned the rooms next to us in a very LOUD manner. It was completely ridiculous. There is no reason to be cleaning, vacuuming, moving and banging furniture when there are people right next door with a "Do Not Disturb" sign on their door. That didn't seem to phase them though. We were forced to wake up at 8 every morning, very disappointing. This was our major issue with the hotel. Otherwise, this was a nice hotel for the price. It was in a great location, only 1 block to the Space Needle! So that was awesome. However, if you plan on getting breakfast here, save yourself 8 dollars and just go to the Mcdonald's one block away for much cheaper, same quality food. This hotel's breakfast buffet is 15.95 per person, but a hotel guest can get it for 7.95. We got it one morning, and it definitely was not worth the price. Seriously, save your money and just go to Mcdonald's!!! Overall, I wouldn't stay here again, but it wasn't the worst hotel in the world. It was CLEAN at least! :)
