Walking distance to the needlePosted Sep 18, 2014
We were looking for a hotel within walking distance of the city center. This met that need beautifully. A comfortable room were we could walk to everything around the space needle. Parking is horrible around the needle so this was awesome.

Seattle is a great destinationPosted Sep 12, 2014
Pros: Location; size of room; good bathroom; opening window; idiot-proof aircon (which wasn't needed during our stay); helpful & friendly staff...
Cons: More attention to towel re-use policy - we didn't need clean towels but got them anyway despite lots of green & 'Project Planet' signage in the room.
Location: Space Needle, Chihuly, waterfront restaurants, cruises etc - see above
Hotel is close to Space Needle, EMP Museum, Chihuly Garden & Glass which is absolutely WONDERFUL. Walking distance to downtown, waterfront, restaurants etc. Desk staff happy to help with tour reservations and bus details to Boeing factory out of town. Hotel dining room and lounge staff friendly and efficient. Plenty of space in our room on the top floor; not a great view but the window could be opened for fresh air - a big plus for us. Bus driver on Metro bus to Everett VERY helpful, kind and friendly. We did a lot in three days - City Pass is good value.

It is a OK hotel. My expectations were more.Posted Sep 10, 2014
Location: Location is great and one can walk around and see interesting places.
The stay was OK. But for the price one can find a better place. It needs more warmth when you enter the Hotel.

Great location and comforttable roomPosted Sep 9, 2014
We stay there one nigh before our cruise. After a long flight we had a good dinner at the Hotel. We were very surprised that regardless of the labor day weekend the room was very quite. We did not hear any noise from other guests walking in the halls. No noise from other guests taking showers or running water. Or the typical noise from the upstairs guest walking around. It was just a very comfortable place to stay. Just 2 blocks to the Space Needle and Monorail to ride to downtown area and pike market.

Very stinky place. Very bad odor in the hallway.Posted Sep 7, 2014
Hold your breath walking in hallway. Rude front desk. Very expensive for such bad service. When complained about smell they didn't seem to care. Beer bottles lying on hallway floor. Overall terrible experience.

Don't let the outside fool you!Posted Sep 5, 2014
This hotel was a real surprise! Clean, beautiful room! A bit smaller than expected, but it was very nice! Bedding was very fancy - and for the price, I'd stay there again! Close to the Seattle Center, easy walk to the bus stop to go downtown.

Close to most sitesPosted Sep 5, 2014
Location: Right downtown. Easy to get around
Hotel was walking distance to most of the sites. Very friendly staff. The room was nice, clean and comfortable,( the beds were listed as queen but really seemed like doubles) The only negative would be trying to get served food in the lounge. We went in wanting to have a meal but ended up leaving after not being looked after by the bartender / waitress for 20 minutes. She had been talking to a few people and had forgotten about us. We went to a great pizza place (zeek's) a couple blocks away that has great food and service.

Broken Air Conditioning in AugustPosted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: It does have an in-house restaurant that was satisfactory.
Cons: Just about everything from elevators up.
Location: It is within walking distance to the Needle and Chihuly Museum and Gardens.
This is a very old hotel and that would be alright except, few if any upgrades have been made. Our in room air conditioner broke and all the hotel could come up with was a fan. It was HOT all night. They were supposedly full and could not change our room. When we asked for an adjustment to our bill which was quite steep ($289 per night) for a 2 star hotel, we were told that since we booked the room through Expedia they could not address any adjustment. The supposedly clean bathtub had several long black hairs in the bottom. All in all, an unhappy experience. Thankfully we stayed only one night.

Great location, good hotel.Posted Aug 29, 2014
Cons: Plants at entrance need care BY A GARDENER, not by AZn employee who waters them every morning.
Stayed for three nights last week. Nice hotel, close to main sights in Seattle.
