“Pretty tired place. Odd location.”
Check in was painfully slow. I was the only person checking in, had nothing out of the ordinary, was already paid thru expedia and it still took almost 15 minutes for the guy to grind through a very convoluted process. Checked in and there was no TV in the room. I was moved to another room only at my insistence and found it had no toilet paper and the paper holder was siting in the sink. The place was pretty much a ghost town, but the room was generally fine, and for the price, hard to complain too much. The "Free coffee" in the morning was all you get and then they don't have it out until 7 AM so you don't even get coffee if you get up early to go. Just an odd place showing its age and needs somebody to show them how to manage it. They are clueless. Definately this place is NOT 3 stars! 1.5 maybe 2.
“Gross and yucky!”
This hotel is creepy (think of old horror movies) and disgusting! Carpets have lots of stains, my wall had a hole from the door knob, and sheets were old and gross smelling. I'm a guy, so I tried to just man up, but I was itching all day from my back to my head for the two days I stayed there. I really regret staying here and hope you don't make the same mistake. Seriously, I don't know how it's possible to operate legally in this manner.
“Old, outdated and smelly”
The hotel is very old, outdated, and smelly. After being told there was a large fine for smoking in the room, we were given a key to a room that smelled of cigarette smoke so bad, I could not remain in the room for more than a minute. The second room also smelled strange, but bearable. The carpets and furniture were stained, the bathroom walls warped. The service was ok, but when we asked for extra pillows, we were given 2 pillows off the floor of the maid closed, with no cases. The room was clean, but stained and in disrepair.
“No comments as too far from our Convention venue in Seattle city.”
The person who helped to book this hotel for us herself did not know that this hotel was too far to go and come back everyday from Seattle where we were to attend functions from 4-7-11 to 8-7-11!! So I am unable to really give exact comments, sorry. Thank you.
“Not Impressed”
Hotel appears to have little traffic and the service was minimal.
“A good place to stay but can't wait for renovations!!”
The staff at the Carlton Inn were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room was older and needed upgrading, the staff said they were in process of doing that. The beds were horribly uncomfortable!!! This is the most important thing for me in staying at a hotel/motel and the beds were completely uncomfortable! It was like sleeping on the floor! I hope when they renovate they choose good quality beds that will allow their future guests a good nights rest!
“Kirkland hotel by the marsh walk”
The hotel was clean and comfortable and convenient. Not only was it convenient to freeways, but there were shops and restaurants and a movie theater nearby. There was a walking trail that circled through a marshy area that had interesting plants and animals.
