Close to public transportation

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Close to public transportation
Cons: Smell of stairwell
Location: Light rail to downtown Seattle
Best thing is close to airport and so convenient that light rail is walking distance. We didn't need to drive in to Seattle, just hopped on the light rail and in about a half an hour we were downtown. The room itself was comfortable and clean. One of the stairwells smelled of urine, so we avoided that, but otherwise affordable option in Seattle. Another nice feature was an INDOOR pool, and close to several Somalian restaurants for a new dining experience...

Met the needs. Close to airport. Confusing parking arrangement after hours.

I would never recommend this property. Dirty. Also took them 1/2 hour to pick up from airport even though it is within 1 mile. Very disappointed

Convenient location, good price

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: Helpful & friendly staff, location,
Cons: Laundry
Location: Located near the airport and more importantly Light Link.
We made our reservation the night before the stay. Overall a good experience. A nice breakfast buffet (10 dollars tax), acceptable wifi speed, good location. The laundry was very primitive (no digital displays, timers, etc.), but it worked out. We were really looking forward to using the swimming pool, but it was closed for maintenance. It would have been nice if we had been informed about that initially.

Clarion Hotel at SEATAC Airport

Posted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: It is very close to the airport.
Cons: Cleanliness in public areas and guest rooms, maintenance repairs performed in a journyman like manner and staff will treat all guests well.
Location: Industrial area next to the airport. Pretty scary place if you're not used to large cities. Appears to have a lot of transients and street people.
Front Desk Associate was minimally helpful at check in. Because I made the reservation though Expedia, he conveyed a sense to me that he had little responsibility to provide service or courtesy towards me. The hotel was not clean. Room service dishes were left in the hallways entire days, entryways were not vacuumed and the glass was not cleaned of fingerprints. My room's condition did not show respect for guests. Particularly the dirt build up along the edges of furniture, created by not moving furniture when vacuuming, mascara marks on the bed sheets, a piece of floor trim had come unattached from the wall and was hanging loosely. The shower curtain rod was repaired in a haphazard manner by screwing a piece of wall board to the wall and attaching the curtain rod above it. It worked but it looks as though the maintenance staff is inept and unskillful to do something in this manner.

Not great!

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Close to airport.
Cons: Just about everything.
The clerk was overwhelmed. I was assigned three separate rooms - the first two had never been cleaned. I would never stay there again.

We didn't have a chance to spend much time in the room but it was comfortable and clean. Honestly my only issue was with how the the staff checking us in was.

Close to Airport

Hotel is within walking distance to airport and light rail. Hotel itself is old. Rooms are ok, beds are comfortable. Not a 5 star hotel by any means but will do for a night.

Pros: close to airport
Location: the mall was not too far so we were able to go there for dinner.
it was older hotel. the room was ok but nothing special. there was cookies and towels etc in the hallway. I found a hair on the nightstand. Could not open the bathroom door all the way because it hit the rounded out shower rod that was there.

Hotel near airport

Posted Jun 27, 2014
Pros: Prompt airport pick up. Rooms are decent and clean.
Cons: clean up the hallway areas
Location: Seatac
We have stayed here before. It is getting kind of run down and shabby. Doesn't smell good in the hallways, gum in carpet, just getting a little seedy. The service is good, but being so close to the airport there is no accommodation for food or drinks if you arrive late, other than to go out or order in.
