The Courtyard Pioneer Square is conveniently located and is within walking distance of many popular Seattle attractions and restaurants and quaint pubs!! Hotel also provided computer access to obtain airport boarding passes, etc. which made it super convenient!! Check in and check out staff were always friendly and helpful!

nice hotel close to our needs.

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: historic value and location to our needs
Cons: mattresses could be better
Location: good location for walking to the Pike, shopping and food choices
The weather was sunny and warm. Daytime walks were enjoyable, evening walks were less so.

Good location for Safeco or CenturyLink

Posted Jun 28, 2014
Stayed Mon through Fri primarily to watch baseball at Safeco field. About a 15-20 minute walk to CenturyLink stadium or Safeco field. Also reasonable walking distance to Pike Place Market. Price and location were selling points for me. A few quirks like not having extra toilet paper, a couple broken elevators, and in progress renovations were annoying in the moment, but easily forgiven in hindsight. Rooms were clean and well kept.

Downtown Seattle

Posted Jun 28, 2014
Pros: Proximity to downtown venues
Cons: More parking- valet was full so we had to drive around looking for an empty garage
Location: Safeco Field, Pioneer Square, shopping, bars, waterfront
We were able to walk to Safeco for a Mariners game without a problem. Loved being so close to all the bars and breakfast places. It was great to not have to use our car all weekend! Felt very safe the whole time.

Downtown

Posted Jun 27, 2014
Needed a hotel downtown in Seattle ideally close to the Space Needle and Aquarium. Thought this was close but turned out to be many blocks from both. Was able to walk to the nearby Westlake Mall and take the Tram to the Space Needle park. Still needed a shuttle to get to the Pier for the ship. The Hotel was under reconstruction and limited in rooms and facilities. They had a small pool but not hot tub, a nice exercise room and small restaurant. Room was nice a bit compact especially the bathroom. The only view from the windows were old brick walls. The highlight was the staff which were very nice storing our luggage until a room was available , helping with directions, and all requests.

Great hotel in the heart of old Seattle

Posted Jun 16, 2014
From the valet parking till my check out was a really good expedience. The hotel is located at the heart of old Seattle and of course the building is part of Seattle's history. Modern and comfortable inside. The room also let us have a good rest after the long flight we had. The service of the staff is really good and warm. Check inn, without any problem, check out too. My special thanks are for Gerald Lamontagne, General Manager of the Courtyard, because I left my belongings. I sent the email to the Hotel and Gerald kept track of my belongings right away. He offer 3 solutions and my family and I decided to make a quick stop before or return. We arrive at the hotel once more and Aaron, with a big smile, gave me my things without any problem. I definitely would stay again at the Courtyard for fair prices, great location and excellent service.

Well located downtown hotel

Posted May 28, 2014
Pros: Clean and comfortable and well located for all downtown and waterfront attractions
Cons: Meal service for both breakfast and dinner is rather limited
Stayed here both before and after an Alaska cruise and the reception staff remembered me by name when I returned the second time - impressive.
