OK hotel close to SeaTac AirportPosted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: Nice view and nice room. Corridor to the room is not that nice.
Cons: Stop charging for parking! Fix the WiFi so it doesn't constantly turn on and off
Location: Roast house, Denny's , Airport
Stayed for 2 nights, didn't use any facilities. I saw there is a pool on the map but my "wing" was too far away from that. Basically the hotel is laid out like dorms on campus: it has many different parts to it. I stayed in number 5, which is far away at the back of the hotel property. Thankfully I had a car. There is a huge parking lot but they CHARGE for it. My car was $28 for two days, my parking was $50 for two days... Fun!

Worst stay in Washington StatePosted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: Nothing. I stayed in 7 hotels in Washington state and this was not only the worst hotel but the most expensive, avoid, avoid, avoid.
Cons: I stayed in rustic cabins in the backwoods of Eastern Washington with faster WIFI that was also free. That would be a nice start.
Location: There is nothing to do here but that is not the problem.
No help with checking in even though we had a large number of bags and hotel is extremely large. Lay out plan is complex and unusual and explanations poor as to where room was. Room was located next to very noisy mechanical room and noise went on all night. Requested towels and did not arrive for 3 hours, required a second phone call. Arrangements to print boarding passes were poor. Those actually in place were not those described in hotel guide in room. Staff were not informed about this at all. Had to phone front desk many times and they usually took about 20 rings to answer. Remember I was trying to print a boarding pass in an airport hotel!

A pleasant surprise!Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: It was convenient, my room was large, the hotel staff was friendly and the service was great.
Location: This hotel was conveniently located across from the airport and was in close proximity to Seattles light rail system so it was easy to get downtown to
The Doubletree Hilton was clean, comfortable and beautiful. Although it was located across the street from the airport, once inside it felt more like a resort in the way its pool was complletely surrounded by 2 low level wings of the hotel giving no indication you were near the airport, it was quiet, the free shuttle, free chocolate cookiesupon arival and the many activies available there. I will stay there again the next time i am in Seattle

The suite was exactly what you would imaginePosted Jul 14, 2014
When we walked into the king suite it was spacious and luxury they had robes and a hot tub. The room was also very quite and private with a lake side view. The most accommodating king suite in sea tac. I have stayed a lot of king suites and this one was in the top 3 king suite around. The only thing we was missing a microwave other than that it was great.

HorriblePosted Jul 12, 2014
$21 p/day parking. They screwed up my stay length twice. Management walked in my room twice without knocking only to find out they screwed up. You cannot park by the front entrance to check in. They will ask you to move. The inherent is 0.3 down and 0.1 up unless you pay 10 p/day. To many things to list here other than horrible.

Poor Value and ServicePosted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: The personnel other than the manager were fine. As for the room, it was a place to sleep that didn't have bed bugs.
Cons: When they cannot provide the type of room that was reserved they should apologize and offer some sort of compensation even if it's a drink in the bar.
We reserved a room with two queens. We had stayed in this hotel before and had a double and it was spacious and fairly nice. This time, however, we were given a small room with a single queen in a run down part of the hotel that had clearly seen better days (the popcorn ceiling is an indication of the age). The shower was what I would expect to find in a Motel 6. We talked to a person at the front desk who checked with the manager who offered no apology and basically told us that the hotel was so busy that there is no way she would give us another room or lower the price on the dingy one that we got. We were told later that there computer reservation system habitually oversells the rooms. Why would I ever want to stay there again?

Nice hotel near SeaTac with free shuttle to and from airport every 20 minutes. Friendly staff. Good place to stay near airport.
