Needs to updagre to a more modern rooms. The outside... Needs to keep the inside and outside beautiful and clean. It seems that somebody removed all the plants... It looks bad...

Under construction, but not disturbing

Posted Apr 16, 2015
Pros: Our room being so comfortable! my husband and I have bad backs and usually don't sleep well away from home, but our bed was extremely comfortable!
Cons: Since it is under construction I believe improvements are being done
Location: Within 10 minutes of downtown seattle, but no city noise! Wonderful!
Though not directly off an interstate exit, it was not difficult to get to. The room was spacious and though dated in decor, very comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet was inviting and delicious. We loved the bedroom being in the back of the suite so hall noise wasn't a problem. We were next to the stairway exit and the firewood closure was only intrusive if we were in the living space. The bathroom was spacious except for the area by the sink. We were very pleased with our accommodations

Pros: The suites are good for families. Breakfast buffet was included in the room rate. Staff was friendly and welcoming.
Cons: Overall appearance needs some serious work.
Location: We stayed there because it was near the family we were visiting. Otherwise, the location is not near any tourist attractions.
The hotel was in renovation when we visited. The building exterior looked awful. Landscaping was ugly and there were trenches in the front of the building. The interior was tired and dated. The room was roomy, but again, it badly needed some refreshing. The price was also too high. The hotel made you pay extra for internet access, which I find unacceptable in this day and age when you can get free wi-fi even at a Starbucks. Fortunately, the staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet (included in the price) was good.

Pros: Love the expedia special rate
Cons: I asked for a quiet room sofabed was OK... but the waterfall outside was kinda noisy. Would recommend waterfall turned-off midnight to 7am breakfast
Location: Good thing I had a car for dinner at Din Tai Fung.
Love the omlette breakfast. Atrium was great on a cool wet day. Parking was ample.

The Front Desk Clerks were beyond helpful and friendly. The reception/happy hour was a fabulous little perk, and it was great to get a stiff drink (of your choice) and a little snack buffet bar with veggie trays, nachos etc and free soda, coffee, tea etc. Breakfast also a huge bonus, it was delicious and had a huge selection...loved the omelet bar that had two designated chefs any size omelet ypu request (3-4 eggs was typical) with any ingredients you would want to put in. The room was super comfy and the hotel layout was great. Overall it was super value and didn't feel at all like a 'budget hotel'

Pros: They accomodate us early and the snack are veggies which I really need it that time.
I asked for a coupon code for the wi-fi the receptionist won't give it, when her shift ends I asked another receptionist and immediately gave it to me. I even asked her about the room I said we are 2adults and 2 children ages 10 and 8yo and she gave me a 1 king size bed which is too crowded for 4 people.
