The breakfast was great - first rate. The room was ok except the bath tub didn't drain very well.

We loved this hotel !

We loved the complementary managers reception when checking in and the breakfast in the morning was amazing with an abundance of selections. The ambiance was also great with the open concept floors peering down into the tropical atrium. We can't wait to go again !

Nice quiet hotel close to all tour areas

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Breakfast buffet very good with many choices
Cons: More handicapped parking-If back to hotel after 8PM had to park 5 rows out by curb and that was if a space left.
Location: Seattle highlights-Space Needle, Pike's Market, waterfront tours were within 20 miles but Heavy traffic on I-5 made times to leave/return a challenge
Special request for NON-smoking room -king bed with sofa bed in separate room booked by Expedia. When called to confirm reservations - they said they had a 2 bed SMOKING room for us. We had to pay extra $20/night for 2 bed NON-smoking as all others booked. This was booked back in January with special request as fellow traveler has allergies.

Nice Hotel, No Complimentary Wifi.

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: The front desk staff were pleasant and nice to deal with.
Overall a nice hotel. Rooms were spacious. Interior atrium area can get quite loud at times and the sound carries. I wouldn't stay here again simply for the fact that the room cost was ~$175 and there is no complimentary wifi. Being a traveller from outside the U.S. it would have been nice to have wifi. Many hotels that are just as nice charge a lower room rate and include wifi. Guests shouldn't have to be a Gold HHonors member to receive complimentary wifi anymore. I'm sorry Embassy Suites, but this is a show stopper for me.

Great hotel

Posted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Room was big and had two TVs, and there was a door to separate the room into two bedrooms with sofa bed. Hotel atmosphere was excellent.
Cons: There was no DVD player in rooms. Service should be improved. Need more staff. Trees should be trimmed around the hotel so guests can find it easier.
Location: It was nothing but trees nearby. Need a car to access to nearby stores and restaurants. They should at least take care of trees in front of the hotel.
We really loved the hotel but the service was disappointing because we had to wait for one hour to get pillows for the sofa bad and had to call front desk three times before the staff finally brought them up to our room. Same thing happened when we needed an extra blanket.

Top notch hotel off freeway

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: The staff and rooms were awesome.
This is well worth the price paid. Given its proximity close to the freeway, I was pleasantly surprised that there was little to no freeway traffic noise that I could hear. The food and accommodations were excellent!! The staff was really helpful, friendly, and extremely professional.

a great surprise

I live in Seattle but my daughter really wanted to stay in a hotel with a pool with her friends for her birthday. I chose this hotel because it was reasonable and had suites so I didn't have to sleep with a bunch of 11 year old girls. When we checked in, we were invited to a "Manager's happy hour" where there we free snack and drinks for kids and adults. The court yard is really cute and they make sure it stays nice: requiring everyone to wear shoes and no swimsuits. The room service had a great kid's menu and the prices were normal. There was a free hot breakfast on the courtyard in the morning, making this hotel really affordable. It was half the cost of anything in Seattle and really nice for a family getaway.
