“really liked it”
i really liked this hotel it was very clean and the kitchen was great i cooked there and saved lots of money instead of going out and eating..it was aso about 15 min from seattles center and its in a great location..grocery stores near by and shopping stores too
“pretty good hotel”
The hotel was pretty good. The service was good. lots of stores around. Good location.
“Decent but not great!”
From a broken toilet to some not so clean carpets its an OK hotel for the price but not so great. You can plan out in staying there longer however, no breakfast in mornings and towels/linen are included in the price if you are not staying there for longer than 6 days. The corridor smells smoky/weedy all the time when you walk through it.
“Will stay there again”
The location was very convenient to the Granite Curling Club where we competed in a tournament. Walking distance in 5-minutes. It was clean and quiet. Didn't need anymore than that.
“Good for the price”
I was put on a smoking floor in a smoking room. I am a non-smoker and don't live around smokers so that was disappointing. The hotel was fully booked so wasn't able to move me. They had done their best to get rid of the smoking smell so was tolerable.
“change your own bed linens?!”
if you want clean towels, take the dirty ones to the front desk 100yds away. If you want fresh bed linens, take the old ones to the front desk and then put the new ones on by yourself. A very small tv, an uncomfortable bed, crying kids running up and down the hallways and in the room next door....you have to decide if this is worth saving $10 per night over a full service hotel 2 blocks away or even 2 miles away. I left a night early because it wasn't worth it to me. I needed rest without worrying about changing the sheets myself if I wanted fresh ones.
“Quietand convienent”
Proximity to hospital and cemetary was very helpful.
“average”
I requested a non-smoking room however, the entire wing that our room was in smelled of cigarette smoke. We returned to our room to find the power out one evening. Staff was nice and very helpful.
“Barely acceptable this time”
The room was not ready for occupancy. A kitchen cabinet door was broken, coming unhinged when opened. The center elements in the toaster didn't work. There was not enough silverware for two place settings. On the other hand, the room was clean and comfortable and the hotel reasonably quiet. To be fair, we were originally booked into another room but requested a ground floor unit upon check-in. We've stayed here before and will do so again because of the reasonable rates and expect this was just an anomaly.
“Clean and Affordable-- A Good Experience for Us!”
We were a little wary of making a reservation here due to some previous reviews we'd read about the place, but it was a good experience for us! The room was obviously recently updated-- new carpeting, very nice furnishings, very clean first impression! We were looking for a cheap and decent room for a short night's stay close to Seattle and we got all that we were hoping for in this hotel. I'm not sure I'd want to spend a week there-- the rooms are definitely efficient with space!-- but it was a great value for the money and we were happy.
