Disappointing

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Actually, it was very disappointing. I have come to expect much better value from Sheraton Hotels and I felt a bit ripped-off for the rate I paid for 4 nights. Expensive onsite parking for a hotel so far from the city centre. a mediocre breakfast that was over priced, no minibar or fridge in room, and noisy. The hotel is located in the middle of a construction zone and there is nothing on the hotel website to indicate the nearby construction. When I mentioned this to the front desk clerk he looked at me like I was stupid and said I should have done my research and looked at the guest comments on the hotel booking websites. I guess he's right - in future I will do my research and I will avoid staying at Sheraton Hotels.

Nice hotel

Posted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Style, cleanliness, staff, proximity to Seattle Center
Cons: Sound insulation, internet could be better, hotel shuttle would be awesome
Location: Space needle etc
Hotel is in a nice location, very close to the city center. One of the nicer hotels in the area. Room was very clean, but the walls are very thin and on our first night we could hear everything from the lobby (our room was right above it). I'd recommend getting a room at the back which is much quieter. Staff is very friendly and attentive, both in the bar and the front of the house.

Really good. The hotel is good and the staff are friendly. The location is privileged. It is possible to go walking to the EMP Museum and to the Space Needle. In the surroundings there are a lot of good restaurants.

Booking with Expedia is lacking some info.

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: The beds were sooooooooo comfortable!!! Clean and close to almost everything we wanted to do. No breakfast I thought that was cheap.
Cons: Breakfast should of been included in the price, it's still costly to stay downtown with Expedia. We drove to Safeco because cabs were to expensive.
Location: The hotel was the perfect location for seeing the Space Needle, Glass Museum and walking to Pike's Market. To far from Safeco for cheap cab fare.
We booked with Expedia for this hotel and it was a great hotel next time I will phone and find out what the rates are. We just got the room and for that price I felt we should have gotten breakfast included. I am learning with this online booking it might not be all that it is cracked up to be. The hotel was great and if you are a family of 5 or 6 this might be the only answer to staying downtown and experiencing Seattle downtown and harbor. We were close enough for most of what we want to see except to far from Safeco Field for reasonable cab fare so we ended up driving through rush hour traffic (a night mare be prepared) but parking near the football field was really reasonable ($15.00) the shuttle from the hotel was $8.00 each one way!!!!!! The cabs not much better and difficult if you are a family to find a van after the game. If you are a family this is where you can get one room for all of you and for a few nights any family can deal with it for the money savings. Grandma & Grandpa both snored and we took some crap for it but we were making memories is how we looked at it.

Nice hotel in an awkward location

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: New, clean, friendly staff
Location: Great if you like the Queen Anne area. Not so great for downtown.
The hotel is quite new and the rooms are large, clean and in good condition. The hotel is a bit out of the way in Seattle's Queen Anne area which is about 20 minutes walk from downtown. There is a Seven Eleven nearby but no real shopping or dining options in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

Great location, but avoid rooms above the lobby.

Posted Aug 10, 2014
My friend and I stayed here because of it's (very) close proximity to Key Arena. Overall the hotel was fantastic! Very clean, comfortable, excellent customer service, etc. The only downfall was that our 2nd floor room was just off the open, loft-like hallway which overlooks the lobby below. At 6:30am I woke up to all of the comings and going of people in the lobby and restaurant (which was directly below us). I really couldn't believe that I was laying there and could actually hear individual conversations from diners below. I attribute this to room location because we never heard noises from the rooms on either side of us or above us. Bottom line: great hotel, great staff, clean and comfortable rooms, just ask for a room away from the lobby.
