Excellent locationPosted Sep 30, 2014
My husband and I stayed for 4 nights and were very happy. Hotel is very nice, rooms are spacious and clean. Loved the little deli and Starbucks attached to hotel. Excellent location, walking distance to resturants, shopping and pike place market. Only a short cab ride to stadiums and space needle. We would definitely stay here again

Suffered from a smoking roomPosted Sep 29, 2014
We arrived very late at night in Seattle just to find out that even though we had paid for our hotel room weeks in advance and had asked for a non-smoking room they gave us a smoking room because they had no more rooms available. How can a 5 star hotel do that?!!!!! They switched us the next day to a non-smoking room and it turned out it was a smaller room than the one we had the night before!

We didn't get the rooms we booked and orderedPosted Sep 27, 2014
Pros: it was clean
Cons: don't overbook your hotel and give people rooms they didn't book
Didn't get the rooms we ordered, ended up getting a smoking room instead of a non-smoking because all the non-smoking ones were full, we had to move rooms half way thru our stay, the hotel didn't do a good job in delivering what I ordered

Nice hotel in central locationPosted Sep 21, 2014
Pros: Staff & location
Location: Pike Place Market, The Space Needle Pier's. Don't miss the "Ride the Duck."
This is a really nice hotel and it is well located. It is about 6 blocks to the Pike Place Market.and a little over a mile to the Space Needle. Our room was a junior suite on the 18th floor with a peek-a-boo view of the water. The staff were all very helpful and offered lots of suggestions. A Starbucks and a small market are attached to the hotel.

Great location, nice hotel.Posted Sep 17, 2014
Nice spacious suite. We were a family of four checking in. They never mentioned that the pullout would need to be prepared or offered to do so. We pulled out the bed and found just the mattress. We called down and asked for bedding, which was delivered. We went to make the bed at midnight only discover that they had not delivered sheets, only blankets and pillows. It would have been nice if upon seeing four of us checking in, they would have offered to do the bed up for us.

Great location but priceyPosted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: ...This is a seriously expensive hotel. The views are amazing and its right in the middle of downtown
Cons: The price. It was VERY expensive. I therefore would not recommend it. I would tell friends to get out of town and use the light rail
Location: Its near everything and best of all its near the light railway which is FANTASTIC
I stayed for one night and since i was falling off a ferry i needed somewhere nearby. I fulfills that requirement, but...

Great central location!Posted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: Location, friendly staff, cleanliness.
Location: Shops just outside the door, taxi's on hand, a short walk to Pike Market.
My sister and I found the staff extremely friendly. The room on the 27th floor had an excellent view of the Bay, shops and surrounding area. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with a wonderfully large shower and oversized bath for relaxing!

RelaxPosted Aug 26, 2014
I have stayed in many hotels in Seattle and the grand Hyatt was top notch, better than all the rest especially the bathroom. Fantastic thank you, Patrick O'Keeffe

Club access was a highlight, but not worth itPosted Aug 25, 2014
Location: the Crab Pot was a fun, casual place to eat outside - you wear a bib and break your own crab legs!
The club breakfast was good and the access to the lounge was a nice touch, but there wasn't much in there upon our arrival for snacks - I don't think I would get it again. The room was great and the bathroom was really nice (except no rainfall-style faucet in the shower!) Staff were really pleasant and helpful.
