FantasticPosted Feb 19, 2014
The Grand Hyatt is fantastic! Right in the heart of downtown, close to their spa, which was also fantastic. The rooms were gorgeous, clean and spacious. The staff were gracious and accommodating.

Nice hotel in good location (Seattle)Posted Feb 19, 2014
Pros: Location, upper-scale at reasonable rates, staff
Cons: Lounge/bar located inside the hotel. Ruth Chris has an entrance from the hotel, but is very pricey, and is practically an upscale chain restaurant.
Location: Public Transportation (Light Rail, Monorail, buses) within 2 blocks, shopping mail within 2 blocks, Waterfront/Public Market within 6 blocks.
Hotel was located in downtown area and provided close proximity to restaurants, public transportation, shopping and Waterfront. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. Hotel staff was very professional and accommodating - everyone was came in contact with from front desk, room service, and house cleaning were friendly. Our flight was not scheduled to depart until 7pm the day we left and the hotel allowed us a late check-out (3pm) with no questions asked.

Nice PlacePosted Feb 18, 2014
Other than missing floor mats in the bathroom and $5 bottle of water (which should be free) everything is perfect. Thank you,

Nice High end hotelPosted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: Very classy with excellent service.
Cons: Free wifi in the rooms would be nice.
Location: Close to shopping and restaurants. $6 cab ride from Space Needle. 10 minute walk to the Market.
We stayed here in February 2014. All of the staff were amazing. We chose the valet parking and he was super helpful with all our luggage and even got some ice from us once he showed us up to our room. We went to Ruth Chris Steakhouse twice. Once for drinks and once for dinner, both were excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very large. We used the jacuzzi one night after a long day of walking. It was very convenient to have both a Starbucks and a convenience type store in the hotel. Can't wait to return!

Great hotel close to shopping. Large spacious bathPosted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: Close proximity to shops and restaurants and large bathroom.
Location: Just steps away from Pacific Place Mall, Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, Macy's and Sephora.
Our hotel was great. We were able to check in much earlier than we anticipated which was a bonus. The hotel is very central and just steps away from shopping. Room size was excellent with a more than spacious bathroom which was very nice.

Nice hotel with great locationPosted Feb 16, 2014
Pros: Decor, location, bathroom
Cons: More friendly front desk staff
Location: Close to the market, Pink Door burlesque, SAM (Seattle art museum), Purple wine bar, the Cap Hill district and many others
I live in Seattle, so this was a staycation. The location is really nice, close to Cap Hill and also everything in downtown. The hotel is very tastefully decorated, exudes a high-end NW style. The bathroom was amazing. Gorgeous tub on one end and shower on the other. The only reason I wouldn't give it a 5 stars is because the front desk staff was not very communicative or helpful in any way and I found the bed to be a bit uncomfortable, but that is obviously a personal preference type of issue.

Valentine's GetawayPosted Feb 15, 2014
Pros: Convenient location in downtown. Large room with marble bath and tub. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Easy check-in. Quick service.
Cons: nothing I can think of
Location: Pacific Place is a block away: lots of shops and restaurants. Two theaters within a block in either direction. Walk to Great Wheel and Pike Place.
We chose the room at the Grand Hyatt because we wanted to have a short getaway in Seattle. This hotel rated well and had the amenities we were looking for. We planned a stay in the city to celebrate Valentine's Day. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was large and beautiful. We chose a room with a king bed and a view of the water. We were able to walk everywhere since the hotel was right in the middle of downtown. We walked to Pike Place Market for some shopping, we shopped at Macy's and Pacific Place. We had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory at the end of the block. We were able to walk down to the Seattle Great Wheel and take a ride at night and see the lights of the city. We spent a late night Happy Hour at a restaurant at the top of Pacific Place across the street. Took advantage of the marble bathtub in the huge bath suite and had a relaxing bubble bath. Called for extra towels and the hotel staff was there within 5 minutes to deliver them. The room was quiet, no noise form the other rooms or the streets below. We would definitely stay here again and would recommends this hotel to friends.

Always reliablePosted Feb 12, 2014
Good overall... The staff was a little subpar but I believe that's just one individual. They are usually super nice... Recommend this place
