“Great hotel for the price”

Good hotel. Nice that they have free wi-fi and a decent free breakfast. I find it ironic that so many of the more expensive hotels charge for both of these. Staff were very professional and friendly. My only issue was discovering that my room door did not shut by itself. Not an issue except for the afternoon I returned after the room had been cleaned to discover the cleaning person hadn't pulled the door shut. I reported it to the front desk - don't want the cleaning staff to get in trouble but do want future guests to feel things in their rooms are safe - hope they got the maintenance staff to fix the door.

Area recommendations

Great area. Within walking distance of the Space Needle - and the tram to downtown Seattle - which puts you within walking distance of Pike Place Market. A number of good restaurants in the area - just ask at the desk.

“Treated like family”

we had a great trip to Seattle, it was our first visit. The staff at the hotel had such great, warm, inviting attitudes. No matter what they're job at the hotel was, when ever we came in eye contact, they greeted us with a smile and a good morning. The breakfast was a nice touch, and the lobby was comfortable and inviting.

we stayed next to the seattle center just by a whim. we had no idea where was a good area to find a hotel. The transportation in Seattle is wonderful and easy to get around. So that being said, im glad we stayed on the outskirts of town then right in downtown. It felt a little more quiet and as if we were taking out of the city.

“Good Remodel with two exceptions”

Great stay, however, the towels were falling apart and leaving bits and pieces on me as i dried off. Also, kind of frustrating that you have to pay 15 dollars for parking anywhere on the property. Other than that the beds were comfy and the remodel looked nice. Breakfast is your standard below par continental meal so if you're a big breakfast person, might as well find a nice place downtown.

“Our experience in Seattle.”

We stayed at the Hampton Inn on 9-10-11 and then again 9-18-11 before and after our cruise The hotel is in a state of remodeling but our accommodations were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was nice.The front desk help was friendly and accomodating even tho we did have to wait to get in our rooms they stored our luggage for us until room was ready.The Inn is just a few blocks from the Space Needle.

Area recommendations

We enjoyed going down to the Pike Market and spending a few hours also the Space needle .

“Too Bad”

Construction made entry and exit a maze that included two elevator rides and about two blocks of walking. Expected a hot breakfast but another "change". Employees were nice. No good restaurants nearby.

They were in the process of remodeling when we stayed. The room was nicely updated and the bed was comfortable. Better than I expected, and the close location to Seattle Center was nice.

Hotel is currently under remodeling. Air conditioning worked marginally. Hot breakfast was not hot but similar to Best Western continental breakfast.

“Would definitely stay there again.”

Although the motel was undergoing renovations, we found everything to be clean and comfortable and the staff was great-- very helpful.

Area recommendations

Hampton Inn is across the street from the Space Needle-- we thought it was a good location. IF we stayed on the other side of town, we would still have needed a cab to get around.

“I would stay again.”

It's on a convinient location, two blocks from EMP, Space Needle, Pacific Science Center and from the monorail which takes you to downtown. Very clean hotel. Very good service.

Getting around

Seattle center has a monrail, whch takes you to downtown at Westlake center. Across the street of westlake center is the light rail link which takes to Tukila Airport and Tacoma Airport.
