Raider Nation!

Posted Nov 4, 2014
Pros: Good location, friendly staff, casual atmosphere.
Cons: The only negative were food smells (onions) coming from staff lounge area.
Location: Duck Tour, Space Needle Center, EMP Museum.
In Seattle from Los Angeles for a Seahawk-Raiders game. Many Raider fans stayed at the hotel.Staff were very friendly, warm and accomodationg. Arranged for seats on a shuttle bus to game, made recommendations for local restaurants, provided maps, bottled water and even provided a small can of shaving cream for one that was left at home. The location was close to many local sites. The breakfast was great.

Convenient

Posted Sep 29, 2014
I've been staying at this location for the past 15 years and have always found this hotel and location ideal for what I like and need for various reasons as follows: 1) It easy and quick to walk from the hotel to the tram next to the space needle, and a quick drive to Queen Ann hill. Additonally the tram to downtown eliminates the need to catch a cab and deal with traffic. 2) Hotel is modestly priced and has been upgraded quite nicely over the years. 3) Service has been very polite and helpfull 4) Free breakfast

I expected more from Hampton.

Pros: Staff
Cons: Larger parking spots.
I've stayed at other Hamptons in other cities and this one was a little disappointing. It has a decent location; stores, restaurants, cafes are within walking distance. A clean quiet neighborhood in Seattle, close to the interstate. The staff was excellent; friendly and professional. However, the rooms are starting to show their wear, the carpeting felt dirty under my bare feet. The biggest drawback is the parking, in a word: unacceptable. All parking spots are for compact cars (even those labeled for SUV's). The underground parking is a joke, barely room for a bicycle let alone a car. If one car parks over the line (there were many) the left-over spot was un-usable. And the outside parking was the same. In addition, you had to pay to park there! fifteen dollars a day! Fifteen dollars a day plus tax to park, if you can even find a spot! That's suited for tiny cars, not an average size car. I won't stay there again.

Comfortable Hotel

Pros: Cost and closeness to Downtown.
Well positioned. Close to Downtown, Short walk to Space Needle and monorail to Downtown. Clean and tidy. Large breakfast room. Looks as though it has been re-furbished recently.

Seattle's Hampton Inn

Posted Sep 27, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff and lunch bags to go.
Cons: Parking needs to be explained better.
Location: The location is close to Seattle's Downtown, Pikes Market, museums, restaurants. Etc.
The Hotel is very nice. The staff is knowledge about the area and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel has a great free breakfast which includes a waffle and good tasting eggs with real ham. I would recommend this hotel.. Parking is a challenge in the confusing garage.
