Great family stay.

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: Location.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Shopping, zoo, football and baseball games.
We went for a night away to visit Woodland Zoo. This hotel is only 15 minutes away from the zoo and close to some great shopping. The hotel appears to have been recently renovated. We've stayed here before the reno and it was a nice hotel then. It's even nicer now. The happy hour and complimentary breakfast was very nice as well. Great value for the dollar.

Very nice stay! My room was big enough. The tv storage and the carpet were a little bit old but it didn't matter to us. Breakfast was great. I'll be back for sure.

Nearly best as this type of hotel

Posted Mar 20, 2015
Pros: Clean. I was calm because so many children were staying.
Cons: The refrigerator setting was too strong, so everything kept in it was frozen.
Location: It takes about 20 min and 40 min to Seattle downtown, Seattle Tacoma airpot, respectively by car. And Boeing center is not far from this hotel.
The hotel men were so kind including the house keepers. This hotel is clean. The breakfast was enough as volume and had various foods as free. I do not know why there were so many family guests including children. Most of these kind of hotels are unfriendly but I was calm because there were so many children. In addition, there are some shopping malls around this hotel. It is easy to go out for shopping of foods or something. Good seafood and chinese-like restaurants are also located in these malls.

Good hotel for location

Posted Mar 10, 2015
Pros: Location, room size, breakfast in hotel. Very busy, but well stocked and attendants were very pleasant.
Cons: Replace things that need to be replaced.
Location: There is a lot of shopping nearby, we passed several stores. Decent restaurants. The family fun center is 10 minutes away with many activities also.
This hotel is in a good location, fairly close to shopping and restaurants. At first check in, the desk attendent appeared a bit standoffish. He was leaned over the computer, one elbow up on the desk with chin resting in his hand as he pecked at the keyboard. When I approached, he glanced up and smiled. I told him I was there to check in, and stated my name that held the reservation. He stopped for a moment, put up a finger and said just a minute, and continued with hand holding chin up, listlessly typing. I stood there for about 3 minutes, waiting for him to finish whatever it was so I could check in. No other staff were visible, and no other guests were near the front desk at all so I found this a little odd. The young man was very pleasant when he finally straightened himself up and looked at me, ready to check me in. Warm smile, very pleasant voice, although I had to ask him to speak up a bit. Check in was very smooth, directions to the room were clear. The room was definately large enough for all of us upon arrival. I had booked a double king room for the five of us, and the room had a bit of extra space with a desk, and sitting chair at one end, ample room to get around the beds, and walk past each other, even with three teenagers. Only not nice thing in the room were the soap holders in the shower. It looked as though they had been painted and were badly worn. Everything else was perfectly lovely.

Excellent value

This place is clean and friendly. It is very busy and family friendly so not a quiet spot. Do not plan on getting a seat at breakfast if you are not a early riser. Perfect location.

Pros: Close access to freeway and shopping and restaurants.

Needed a get away, and thought it would be an easy fit. Got a room with a whirlpool, which was a great thing for relaxation.

Great hotel for families!

Posted Mar 7, 2015
We stayed here as a family on a school break and had a great time! Kids swam; we spent time in the hot tub and enjoyed the manager special treats! It was nice to get 2 king beds; it meant no fighting for sleeping space with our kids. Great hotel for a great price! Close to shopping too!

Clean, comfortable and quiet

Posted Feb 3, 2015
We just stayed for one night in a double queen room on the top floor. We found the room to be clean, comfortable and quiet (far quieter than expected for as close to Alderwood Mall and I-5 as it sits). Staff was pleasant and breakfast room was well-stocked, even when we arrived at nearly the end of breakfast hours (and buffet had good oatmeal, fresh fruit, and eggs as healthy alternatives to Fruit Loops, waffles, and gravy and biscuits; lots of offerings).
