Staff not helpful

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Location: Good location within walking distance of waterfront
After we left the hotel we realized we left an expensive foam pillow in the room. Despite two voice mails with Housekeeping and the General Manager, we never received a call back.

Comfortable hotel conveniently located downtown.

Posted Aug 13, 2014
The Hilton Seattle is located within walking distance of all the downtown one could wish for! The employees were very professional, friendly and helpful. The rooms very clean and extremely quiet. The covered parking garage easily accommodated our large vehicle. Will certainly look to the Hilton for all future needs when in Seattle.

Okay hotel

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: The staff was very pleasant and helpful.
Cons: The lobby area.
Location: Shopping and restaurants are close by.
Did not like the ambiance of the lobby or the restaurant and did not like having to take an elevator from the street level to get to the lobby area. Room okay. Like the separation of the toilette and sink area but the sink was stopped up.

Surprisingly no free wifi

Posted Aug 5, 2014
For the price of this hotel. I find it surprising when they want you to pay 11 a day for wifi on top of that. I've stayed in other Hilton's that include it. I've also stayed in places a quarter of the price that also includes it. This hilton is a bit behind the times in this regard.

Surprised to be on 24th floor.

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: View, clean, accessible to downtown.
Location: Walked to Pike Place, the Monorail. Nicely situated for downtown.
Staff were helpful, room was small, but comfortable and clean. Wonderful view of the Sound from the 24th floor, which was more than we expected to get from a reasonably priced (for Seafair weekend) Expedia booking, frankly. Street entrance is not noteworthy, we missed it the first time, thinking there would be a more visible entrance elsewhere. $40 for DIY parking, from check in to 4pm the next day. We were happy with the experience.

An overpriced but comfortable bed. Nothing else.

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: The bed was extremely comfortable, that was it.
Cons: Customer service, directions to actually get in the building, and a complimentary breakfast. Even if it's just toast and fruit.
Location: It is right in downtown Seattle.
I would not recommend this hotel. There are other hotels. Find a different one. For what I paid for the hotel ($180 thanks to Expedia), the room itself was very good. The bed was really comfortable, and everything appeared to be clean. It also smelled clean, too. The reason I would not recommend this hotel is because to me the cost of everything was not worth it. This hotel is cheap in the sense that they will SQUEEZE every penny out of you that they can. They charge you 11 dollars for parking for less than 30 minutes in their parking garage, despite it being practically empty, they don't have any sort of breakfast included in the price of your hotel, and honestly it was confusing getting inside of the hotel. You couldn't take the "entrance", you had to go through the parking garage. All in all, one night, I was satisfied enough but never ever again. This hotel could pass for a very good 2 star hotel, but it is a poor 3 star hotel. Especially for the price, holy crap!

Bath room joke

Posted Jul 15, 2014
That had to be the worse room I have stayed in for a hilton owned property. The bath room was like being in a toilet on.a plane. Other than the decent view and the wonderful staff that made it bearable it was other wise was a place that needs many upgrades .

Hilton Hotel very disappointing

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Cons: Entrance was a shocking experience as I compared it to many in the Asian countries.
Lots of messy remodeling going on. For the price of the room it was a very disappointing experience. I was put up in a room designed for handicapped people. Not a pleasant experience for the price.

Great central location, close to everthything

Posted Jul 12, 2014
Cons: shower sounded like a jackhammer when in use, advised the front desk, probable a minor fix!
Excellent location, great staff, comfortable bed, still undergoing some renovations but did not affect my stay.
