I went to the Friday top floor reception. Cheese and wine were provided. The view from downtown Seattle skyline was fantastic. I had a very good time. Thanks for this nice Friday reception.

Great views of city and water.

Pros: The room was very well appointed.
Cons: The air conditioner was noisy so we turned it off before sleeping.
Location: Close to the freeway entrance. Within walking distance to Pike Street Market.
The king size bed and room was very comfortable. The air conditioner was a bit noisy so we turned it off before sleeping. We were allowed to checkin early as we had come off a cruise ship with our luggage.

Convenient to the 5th ave theater

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Helpful staff,m proximity to theater.
Cons: See above- free parking, free wi if and a hot tub!
Location: Theaters, restaurants, shopping, pike street market, Seattle Ferris wheel &. aquarium, Columbia center tower, international district, pioneer square.
We chose this hotel for its proximity to the 5th ave theater. We thought it would be so convenient to be able to park our car at the hotel and walk to the theater. We didn't realize it would cost 42$ to park over night! And to top it off they charged for wifi- it's free at all the cheap hotels. After hiking all day, we sorely needed a hot tub but they didn't have one of those either. The lobby was not very cozy or inviting but we did get quick service on our dinner and the food was good except for the sorbet which was both gummy and icy at the same time. Other than that the room was comfortable, clean and the staff was helpful.

Staff not helpful

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Location: Good location within walking distance of waterfront
After we left the hotel we realized we left an expensive foam pillow in the room. Despite two voice mails with Housekeeping and the General Manager, we never received a call back.

Comfortable hotel conveniently located downtown.

The Hilton Seattle is located within walking distance of all the downtown one could wish for! The employees were very professional, friendly and helpful. The rooms very clean and extremely quiet. The covered parking garage easily accommodated our large vehicle. Will certainly look to the Hilton for all future needs when in Seattle.

Okay hotel

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: The staff was very pleasant and helpful.
Cons: The lobby area.
Location: Shopping and restaurants are close by.
Did not like the ambiance of the lobby or the restaurant and did not like having to take an elevator from the street level to get to the lobby area. Room okay. Like the separation of the toilette and sink area but the sink was stopped up.

Surprisingly no free wifi

Posted Aug 5, 2014
For the price of this hotel. I find it surprising when they want you to pay 11 a day for wifi on top of that. I've stayed in other Hilton's that include it. I've also stayed in places a quarter of the price that also includes it. This hilton is a bit behind the times in this regard.
