Pros: Its very clean. Basic stores and restaurants are accessible, and if you have a car, famous seattle attractions are not too far.
Cons: Walls are not so thick, so if someone next room is loud or watching TV with high volume in middle of quiet nights, it might be a bit disturbing.
I stayed here for 2 nights in early September 2014, and had a pleasant stay.

Easy bus access to downtown.

Posted Sep 4, 2014
Pros: Breakfast was good. The pool was what I was looking forward to.
Very relaxing and that's just what I needed. The downtown hotels were all booked for the weekend before school started. So I took a chance and booked a Holiday Inn Express that was a ways from town. The Seattle bus system picked me up from the train and delivered me almost to the door of the hotel. The staff at the hotel were very kind and helpful.

Nice location to restaurants and the college.

Posted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Very helpful staff and wonderful breakfast!
Cons: Internet needs improvement.
Location: Shopping, sightseeing, bike trail nearby.
Stayed here for 5 nights while on a course at the college. Nice exercise room, pool and hot tub that is open 24hrs. The breakfast was the best I have ever had for an included breakfast. The girl looking after it is on the ball and does a great job! I would have rated this higher but the internet was painful to use and I did have some stuff that need to be worked using it. I even tried hard wiring with the in room Ethernet cable and it had the same issues. I plan on staying here again as I liked the location and I am sure the internet problem will get fixed.

Exellent location for Seattle visit

Posted Aug 30, 2014
Pros: The hotel was in a great location, clean, and up to date.
Cons: Our room was right across from the pool, the room was rather humid due to it being that close and the AC unit was not working correctly.
Location: Being right on Aurora Ave (99) it was fantastic for getting around. Downtown, the zoo and pretty much everything you want is directly straight down 99
We wanted a hotel close enough to downtown Seattle and still easy enough to get around the surrounding area. This totally fit the bill! Being located on Aurora Ave made it so we could easily find our way around. The hotel was nice and clean the breakfast was great. The kids loved the pool.

Out of City stay

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: The staff we spoke to on front desk were helpful giving directions, ideas on activities and advice on transport I:e bus route.
Cons: Wi Fi speed in rooms slow but this is normal I found in Hotel rooms.
Location: 30 min ride into Seattle, $30 taxi & tip Bus was $7 for family of 4.The area around the hotel has nothing to see.Good Mexican nearby.
I chose this hotel as it was a sensible price for a two night stay.It is a fair way out of Seattle and the wrong side of the City for the Airport. However,we used a mix of rail transit, taxi and bus options to get around. The Hotel staff were all helpful and we had free Wi Fi and breakfast included.Breakfast buffet was ok to start the day.Wi Fi in rooms slow. The indoor pool was a good size.Hot tub was good to.The room was the normal 2 queen size and bathroom which Was clean.Good shower pressure.Good TV.

nice suites with microwave and fridge

Posted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: the suites are nicer and convenient
Cons: the comfort of the bed
Location: conveniently close to the highway and the alderwood mall
everything is fine at this place and the suites are nice. the staff has always been friendly and courteous. they have a very nice complimentary breakfast. there was no knob on the diverter for the shower, and both of us had a very uncomfortable nights sleep on the king sized bed. we have stayed here before and like the hotel, not so sure about the bed.

Great rooms, clean and fairly new, and the staff goes out of their way to accommodate you. The breakfast is great, with plenty of variety that alternates each day.

Fast check in. Nice rooms. Trouble-free stay. The fitness room is pretty small, but at least it's open 24/7.

Thank you for your feedback. It is excellent to hear that you had a trouble-free stay and that our Front Desk could take care of you and provide you with a quick and easy check in. Our Fitness center does have a few machines as well as weights and yoga equipment and definitely has the perk of being open 24/7. We hope you had an enjoyable rest of your time visiting Seattle!

Excellent Alternative to Downtown Hotels

Posted Aug 7, 2014
Spent 5 days in Seattle at peak tourist time. Have stayed at a number of downtown hotels over the years. In Aug 2014 room prices downtown are extremely high as is the parking fees and internet charges. Holiday Inn Express had free parking, a reasonably complete breakfast offering, free wi-fi and friendly and helpful staff. My room was upgraded to king size bed (free of extra charge) when all the queen size bedrooms had been taken. Hint: Do not rent your car at Sea-Tac if you can get a ride to the Holiday Inn Express. Just a block north on same street is Hertz with rental rates at about 1/3 what is charged at Sea-Tac airport. About a 1/3 mile north is Enterprise Car rental

Thank you for the 5 star review! We are glad that you were able to enjoy all of the amenities offered from the free parking to the wireless internet and were hopefully able to take advantage of the facilities that were open 24 hours including our pool/hot tub, business center, fitness center and laundry room. Our breakfast is a delicious one and has many, many options to choose from, which makes it so wonderful and convenient in the mornings. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your time here in Seattle and can come back and visit us again soon!
