Excellent HotelPosted Oct 10, 2014
My husband and I were greeted from a long day of traveling with complimentary champagne. In the morning, I took advantage of the exercise room while he used the golf simulator. We took strolls and everything in downtown was very easy to access. I highly recommend!

Great central location - modern and great cuisinePosted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: Please see above
Cons: No guest rooms above the event area if there is a party or Wedding for guests who are not participating in this party.
The Hotel 1000 has an excellent central location on 1st Avenue, it is modern and has very friendly staff. Many sites as the Pike Market place and the Seattle Art Museum are in an easy walking distance. The hotel restaurant has a great local cuisine. I would recommend this hotel to Seattle travellers who wish to explore Seattle for business or leisure and do not want to end up in large crowds in the standard hotels.

Great location, Cleanest roomsPosted Oct 4, 2014
Pros: Location, Cleanness, view, room size
Location: This hotel was central to everything. Space needle and State ferries, Pike market, original Nordstrom and Starbucks are within a short 10 minutes walk
This hotel was central to everything. Space needle and State ferries, Pike market, original Nordstrom and Starbucks are within a short 10 minutes walk. There are tons of coffee shops and cafe and bars in between. The room was the cleanest room I have ever stayed at and I always stay at 4-5 star hotels. I usually lift the cover sheets and check out the mattress and its seams on arrival to check for bed bugs/cleanness,etc. The mattress was enclosed in a very clean zip-around case which was very impressive. Also the pillows were inside of a disposable pillow case and then a washable one. The room was just recently updated and had a very good keurig coffee maker. The view was great and the bathroom was decent size. We stayed at a king Deluxe room with water view.

Where the fire startedPosted Sep 22, 2014
Cons: More privacy in the bathroom, everything is glass!!!
Location: Great. Underground tour, trolley tour, ferry boat across to the islands.
In the heart of Seattle close to almost everything of interest. We walked to most of our dinners and tours. If you do the Underground tour you will find out that Seattle burned down in the late 1800's and the location is approximately where this hotel is located. However, the hotel is fire-proof, so don't worry.

Great LocationPosted Sep 5, 2014
The hotel is located between 1st and Madison which is about 5 blocks from Pike Street and 1 block from the waterfront. It will take you a little less then 10 minutes walkt to Pike Market. I would recommend that you walk across to the waterfront then walk down toward the Seattle Aquarium. Then cross the street to the parking lot. Take the elevator in the parking lot and it will take you right into Pike Market. Otherwise you will be walking 5 blocks up a hill. The staff was great and they surprise me by giving me a bottle of their local wine brewery since they forgot to have a crib in my room. As for the room, my wife and I was WoW. It's very nice and we had partial bay view so that was difinitly worth the extra money. The bathroom was spacious with a standing shower and seperate bathtube. I will definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to all my friends and family.
