For the price this was a great stay. Staff was helpful, room was clean, got a good night sleep.

“Nice Place to Stay”

Great Staff and Service. Rooms are comfortable. Just be aware that "Deco" here means this is an older hotel with the hallways and some features a bit run-down drab rather than a newer hotel built with Deco styling. The lobby with the fireplace is really nice. The rooms are very clean, and staff is very helpful -- there's even a free shuttle to local places. When visiting the university, it's a nice walk to everything -- the school, little shops, restaurants, Trader Joe's, bike store and bike path. Just an easy place to be. The basement restaurant is not very attractive, but the food is well above average.

“Great hotel with great views”

We stayed for one night because we were visiting friends that go to the University. It was a great stay and worth the extra money for the great quality of hotel.

“Great value for money - great charm!”

A beautiful restored hotel with old world charm and wonderful decor. High above the noise of the city and the U-District (so good views and quiet) but close to everything. Everything ran smoothly and we were very pleased with our stay.

“U-Dist Luxury”

I've stayed here multiple times over the past few years, and keep coming back. The Deca provides a nice bit of luxury to the U-Dist. and being right on the Ave, it is close to a wide variety of restaurants and places to step out for a minute.

“Very convenient and comfortable”

Adorable boutique-style hotel. Comfortable and very conveniently located. Great jazz combo played in the basement lounge. Good food in the restaraunt and a Tully's coffee shop in the lobby.

“Great little place”

I stayed here for one night, and it was delightful The front desk staff were truly good at providing seamless service, and I felt cosier in my room than I often do at home. I was able to get a ton of work done and a wonderful night's sleep. I'll definitely use Deca the next time I need a hotel in Seattle.

“Would stay there again”

I've stayed at this hotel twice and the most recent visit was even more enjoyable. They provide a continental breakfast, the staff are extremely friendly and respectful, and there's a Tully's attached to the lobby! The only suggestion I have to improve hotel service is to provide a shuttle service to and from SeaTac.
