Unexpected Gem

Posted Jul 24, 2015
Pros: Everything.
Cons: Nothing
Location: My mom was in the hospital so was not a pleasure trip but my sister and I enjoyed walks along Lake Washington and the Montlake Cut.
Made reservation because it was close to UW Hospital and it was lowest price nice hotel. The desk staff were great, the parking was easy, the location is great, the room was small but elegant and the view was 5 star. I have told many friends about Hotel Decca and I will stay there again if I have the opportunity.

College orientation, only hotel available through

Posted Jul 22, 2015
You would think for the price of the room they could afford small coffee makers for each room!! If you book through expedia and pay over $300 a night for the room, sorry but you don't rate high enough for after breakfast!! Even though your paying the same amount !! The location was good!!

Almost worth the price

Posted Jul 20, 2015
The location is good and the U District is super cute. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Anything involving food is outsourced to the restaurant so bring your own plates/ utensils if you plan on eating in your room. Don't use the door tags to notify housekeeping to clean the room. This confuses them. My room wasn't cleaned 2 days out of 5 which was disappointing..

Nice hotel just outside downtown Seattle

Posted Jul 18, 2015
The hotel itself is in good conditions, the lobby and lounge area are great, and the staff is friendly. The rooms and bathrooms where modern and clean. My only complain was that the wifi is spotty at best, but I spent most of my time out in the city, so this was no big deal to me. Also, it is not in the best of neighborhoods (plus there is currently a lot of construction going on right now), but I did feel safe, so just be ready for that.

Very Neat Looking

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Cons: Walls are VERY thin, could hear every word that our neighbors were saying from both the bedroom and the bathroom.
Great hotel and location, neat design, and very helpful staff.

Nice Art Deco Hotel

Posted Jul 10, 2015
The room was larger than a standard hotel sized room. I paid for upgraded view and it was great, perfect view of space needle. I stayed 6 nights and had a nice time.

Convienient to the UW

Posted Jul 8, 2015
Pros: The room decor and cleanliness was refreshing. Love that he linens were not over bleeched which makes me break out.
Cons: coffe pot in the room
Location: cafes and restaraunts, UW , walking trails
Quiet stay near the university. Within walking distance of Gas Works, Ivar's and trails. Had a very nice stay near my OSHA classes.
