great hotel

Posted Jun 28, 2015
Room was small, bathroom too. Clean, modern, great staff, excellent location. There were earplugs complimentary on the bedside table, but with the AC on we noticed no street noise. Great place to stay and very walkable to everything.

You don't get what you pay for....

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: Location.
Cons: Charge a rate that reflects what you receive. Why not offer coffee free 24 hours a day instead of from 6-9 in the morning (self-serve anyway)?
Location: Close to downtown shopping and monorail to the Space Needle area.
The staff was friendly, the room was clean but extremely small (as was the lobby, elevators and other common areas). They charged Hyatt/Westin type rates for less amenities than you would receive at a Fairfield Inn (only because they can).,

Centrally located

The craft beer hour is cool and extremely well serviced. The rooms are weak as far as any hip style goes. The elevator cabs were poorly done.

Cool hip hotel, great art. Great location. Great renovation of an old logging dorm.

Stylish hotel in a good location

Posted Jun 4, 2015
Pros: Modern design, shower and toilet are in separate rooms, soaps and shampoo are SLS and paraben-free, free craft beer happy hour every day
Cons: Rooms are small. Rooms on lower floors have a lot of street noise (earplugs provided by hotel). Shower had some mildew in the grout.
Location: Short walk to Pike Place, less than a block from the monorail and close to Westlake station (for trains to SEA-TAC). Short walk from Espresso Vivace.
I stayed for one night in a Full Mini room. Mini is accurate - no more than two people could fit in the room. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. My only gripes were the amount of street noise (I had a room on the second floor) and that there was a little bit of mildew in the shower.

Max Hotel Seattle

The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of Pikes Place and great restaurants. Each floor is decorated by a different artist. Bathroom was big with a real bathtub. The staff were very friendly and gracious, especially in sharing the adorable puppy being puppy sat at the front desk. Would stay there again for sure. Very diverse clients.

Trendy yet friendly downtown hotel

Posted May 31, 2015
Pros: Location, friendly staff, clean modern room decor, beer reception, room windows frosted so you didn't see the building next door.
Cons: Shower too small, no hotel amenity/tv channel guide in room
Location: About 6 blocks from Pike St Market, few blocks to light rail station, monorail station, shopping & dining all around
Good location; we returned our rental car & were able to walk to most tourist spots. Rooms compact but nicely appointed & quiet. Craft beer reception each afternoon a big selling point! Pretty trendy for the "over-60" demographic, but we were treated very well.
