Great location in downtown Seattle!

Posted Sep 16, 2014
This boutique hotel may have small rooms compared to larger chains but it certainly measured up to the best four star! The rooms were immaculate due to the terrific cleaning staff, the gentlemen attending the front door were gentlemen and quick to attend to guest inquiries, and the front desk staff a true team assisting the traveler. This hotel was perfectly located downtown in a secure area with an easy walk to all attractions and shopping.

Well located, rooms smallish, texting concierge

Posted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: I liked the texting concierge and the bellman were very helpful. Well located.
Cons: Replace old air conditioning units for quieter versions. Put anti-door slamming devices on all room doors. Ask housekeeping to not vacuum first thing
Location: Well located in downtown Seattle. Close to everything - shopping, Seattle Center, Pike Place Market, and good restaurants.
I took my 15 year old daughter for a 2 night girls getaway. I wanted to see the Chiluly Glass Exhibit (a must do) and do some shopping. The hotel is very well located - steps to the Flagship Nordstrom's, Norstrom's Rack and Macy's. Valet parking is a must and priced accordingly. However, it did require a 15 minute wait one evening to check the car in. Rooms are small with very loud old in-window air conditioning units. I was awoken the first morning at 7:30 am by housekeeping vacuuming outside our door. I did like being able to text the hotel with any concerns, questions and directions to pull my car around - very convenient. Pleasantly surprised when I was given a wifi code instead of paying $10/day. It was unfortunate that the Front Desk did not ask how my stay was on check out as I would've mentioned being woken up. I would try and go back to the Mayflower Park Hotel on my next trip.

Hello there Meesh, Thank you so much for staying with us and for taking the time to share your story. I'm sorry that you were woken up and for the inconvenience. Please know that I've asked our Housekeeping team to not vacuum that early. Additionally, I've passed along your comments to our Front Desk to ensure that we are asking every guest how their stay was. Again, thanks for staying with us and for providing this feedback so that we can improve. Regards, Kevin Scott General Manager

Pros: Location.
Cons: Toilet space to be improved as it is very small.
Location: Excellent location as in the city.
Excellent location. Room is clean but toilet is very small. I am a small person and cannot move much in the shower room.

Great location

Posted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: Location and convenience. Staff was friendly and helpful. You had to use your room key to access the elevator. Love the doors to the rooms.
Cons: Hallways a little too dark
Location: Near Westgate Center, monorail to Space Needle, entrance to Central Link Lite rail to SeaTac as well as Hop on/off trolley stop, Pike Place market
We didn't know what to expect as we're not familiar with Seattle or the hotel name itself. We read the reviews and took a chance. Boy, where we happy we chose Hotel Max! It is a unique hotel.

Nice hotel, good location downtown.

Small comfortable room, with hotel ideally located downtown. Trendy clean and smart but noisy rooms with even noisier air con units.

Rooms and elevators too small. Bathrooms are tiny. Staff was attentive and curtious. Location is it's best asset.
