Nice hotel with great amenities

Posted Jun 17, 2015
Pros: Customer service was excellent and we loved the spa facilities!
This Hyatt property is great, love the spa facilities and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable, clean and relatively quiet (the service staff were a bit noisy on our floor). The customer service is fantastic! The bellman provided us with a lot of information after he promptly delivered our bags to our room and the staff delivered ice packs to our door at 1am (we were in town for a marathon). There are two on-site eateries -a sit-down restaurant and a separate coffee & sandwiches to-go place. We grabbed breakfast sandwiches and lattes at the coffee place and everything was very tasty. We were impressed with the quality of the pre-made sandwiches. The only downfall is the location. The hotel is located in the retail district so you are close to retail shops but it's about an 15 minute walk to pike market. I am more familiar with the pike market area but the walk from the hotel was not bad. If the prices were a little cheaper, I would definitely stay at this Hyatt property again.

Excellent Hotel Stay

Posted Jun 17, 2015
While in Seattle, we stayed at Olive 8 for two nights before heading to a quick trip to Victoria. When we came back to Seattle we wish that we would have stayed at the Olive 8 again, instead we went to The Westin, which we regretted. The Hyatt at Olive 8 was in a nice & safe neighborhood. We came here for a girls trip & felt safe the entire time here. In walking distance to restaurants and The Westlake Mall (where you get on the monorail to take you to the space needle). We were a 10-15 min walk to Pikes Place Market (never really timed it, but it was really close & an enjoyable walk). When we checked in, we were greeted nicely and they were able to check us in early which was a pleasant surprise. Our room was clean & our view was beautiful. We took advantage of the pool & hot tub for both nights we stayed which was needed because of all of the walking we did touring the city! We bought the breakfast package & was so glad that we did. It was literally the BEST breakfast we both had ever had! The blueberry pancakes were the best I've ever had! My friend's egg white omelet was wonderful! Our first night there, we stopped by the concierge in hopes that he could give us some suggestions on some things to do. He gave us a few options, including a sea plane tour which he booked for us! Unlike The Westin, this hotel is a smaller hotel that gives you great service, is clean & decorated beautifully! We highly recommend this hotel!

Top Hotel in zentraler Lage

Posted Jun 14, 2015
Pros: Eigentlich alles

The only problem in an otherwise exemplary experience was the failure of a wake-up call one morning. Otherwise: great pool and spa facilities, lovely room, friendly staff that sent up wine and chocolate covered cherries because it was a special anniversary for us.

The hotel was in walking distance to the market and the monorail. Pool was very nice and more kid friendly then expected.

Location: Close to Pikes Marketplace and great shopping and restaurants!
The staff was courteous and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I had a nice view of Seattle from my room. There were a variety of restaraunts within walking distance of the hotel.

Perfect location for downtown meetings. Was able to pop in to the spa for a quick manicure fix.
