Simply InnPosted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: The perfect location
Cons: Do some renovation.
Location: walking to Pike Place or Space Needle and so on
The Inn itself was reasonably priced. It is across the 5th Ave and Lenora St, which is a plus if that is where you going to Pike Place or Space Needle and so on. Perfect location. The room is clean, but small. It is better to use the stairs with our luggage because only has an old elevator.

Surprisingly satisfyingPosted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Surprisingly quiet. Clean.
Location: Close to shopping, Convention Center, monorail, and The Yellow Leaf Cupcake Co. - YUM! And Citrus Thai delivers for free - also YUM!
Quick check-in. Clean room. Comfy bed. Older hotel, but new paint, etc. Parking lot is gated at night.

Horrible hotel, horrible managmentPosted Aug 15, 2014
Worst hotel ever to stay at, not worth the money. Altough it is located in the centre of Seattle. Your better off paying more money and getting a better hotel!!!! No parking here, and ur car is at high risk for getting broken into! No cameras in parking lot be cautious.

Good value for exploring Seattle.Posted Jul 25, 2014
Pros: good location and price
Cons: blankets that breathe
Good value for a reasonable price. Walking distance to both the Seattle Center and downtown attractions such as Pike's Place Market and the Pioneer District. Free parking.

convenient locationPosted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: convenient location, moderate (or budget, depending on perspective) cost
Cons: the staff's knowledge of the area and bus routes.
Location: within walking distance are the Pike Street Market, Seattle Center (where the Space Needle and more are), shopping, and plenty of dining choices
Kings Inn is an oasis of a '50s era motel in a sea of both modern and historic buildings in downtown Seattle. Conveniently located to be able to walk to many places, it's a good budget option. Room is quite small, but updated and clean enough. The room had been renovated such that the air conditioning unit looked brand new and worked great for July's mid 80s temps.

When there is nothing else...Posted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: Front desk clerk was very nice.
Cons: cable wires could be moved so they aren't running across the walls and under the carpet through the room.
Just a place to sleep when nothing better was available. If you are tall, be prepared to do some limbo moves to wash your hair- the shower head is about 5' 6" high. The TV was a 19" box that, even with a basic cable hook-up, got a picture that was barely viewable. There was no onsite parking available when we got there so we had to park in a pay lot a block away. No dresser either but since we were only staying one night that was fine.

Close to the actionPosted Jun 7, 2014
Pros: The hotel is definitely clean and pleasant enough.
Cons: Electrical outlets in the bathroom would be a plus. I never found one and for those using hair driers or electric shavers, well, what do you do.
Location: Location is splendid.
The overall experience for this motel along Seattle's Fifth Avenue is "loud." Ambient street noise is not baffled in any way by wither the construction or design of King's Inn. The second night found some love lorn loser proclaiming his love for someone who had locked him out at 2 a.m. The scream at 2:37 prompted a call to the desk to see if everything was all right. The noise subsided but there was a sense of what can be best described as disquiet even as the noise abated. The questions raised at checkout were met by total irritation and the absence of either concern or interest led me to conclude that I would not be staying here again on future visits to Seattle.

Clean hotel, very close to pier 66Posted May 26, 2014
Pros: Clean, close to the monorail, needle and downtown.Restaurants to eat nearby.
Cons: Staff checking you in need to be more pleasant and friendly. No communication with people checking in.
Location: Just near pier and downtown. Staff at hotel will not offer any help whatsoever. Just check you in and give you the keys.
You can walk to the pier with your luggage through Bell st. No need to pay a taxi.Close to Westlake train station(about five blocks) to take the light link train back to the airport.
