Great value and convenient locationPosted Feb 21, 2015
Located in easy walking distance to everything I wanted to visit. Staff were lovely and very helpful, particularly a young man named Nate. I would stay there again.

Couldn't fault it! Great hotel at a great price!Posted Feb 12, 2015
We had an excellent stay at La Quinta. Big rooms with good amenities, including cable tv and dual shower head. Staff all very friendly. Excellent complimentary breakfast! Waffles, sausage, egg, yoghurt, cereals, porridge/oatmeal, toast, mini muffins, juice, coffee etc. Close to city centre, not far to walk or navigate. Only downside I found was the 21yo check in age, as I am 20. I rang the hotel prior to booking and the staff said I could still book under a parents name but to leave a note saying I was allowed to check in on their behalf. I had absolutely no issues with this when I did arrive to check in. Would recommend!

Good value hotel near downtownPosted Feb 10, 2015
Very decent hotel for the price. Was a somewhat hearty walk to Pike Place (about 0.7 miles with two strollers in the rain) but doable; easy walk to Seattle Center. Clean room, although wasn't perfect (cracked sink bowl). Decent breakfast for the price.

Great StayPosted Feb 8, 2015
From the outside the hotel is not to impressive but inside it is great. Breakfast area and lobby are very nice. Bed was huge and very comfortable. room was very clean. Only draw back was my view was poor looking at a business building across from me. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area giving me good food recs within walking distance. Would definitely stay there again.

Great Value for MoneyPosted Feb 6, 2015
Hotel has its quirks, but nothing of major concern. Staff absolutely top notch, helpful, and more than willing to help you navigate the city! Great value for money...better hotels out there, but not at this price!

Pros: Location, cleanliness, the new renovation.
Cons: The outside could use renovating to match with the indoors.
Location: There is so much to do right around the hotel. The location is really great.
My friend and I were visiting from Alabama and we walked from the University St. Light Rail station to this hotel. We were exhausted. When we walked up to the building, I knew I was hesitant. It looks a little run down and dingy. That was strange because everything around us was brand new! BUT THE INSIDE WAS BRAND NEW. It was such a beautiful surprise! It was definitely what we we needed after a long day of flying and walking! I HIGHLY SUGGEST THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE LOOKING!

Love the La QuintaPosted Feb 3, 2015
I really enjoy staying at this hotel. It's in a great location, the staff are always friendly, it's clean and well maintained, it's pet friendly, includes parking and just an overall comfy place to stay. The manager is always so friendly and helpful. I only gave my room less then excellent as it was next to the elevator and that noise made for a rough night of sleep. Otherwise the room was great!

Expected a bit morePosted Jan 29, 2015
Pros: Room was clean, bed comfortable. Staff very nice and friendly. Yammy ice water available any time of the day.
Cons: see 'my experience'. 150 characters is not enough to list suggested improvements.
Location: Location is great - close to everything in Seattle's downtown.
Very recently I was visiting La Quinta in Houston. Big difference in favor of Houston. Opportunities for improvement: - do something about old, noisy heater/air conditioner in the room. - running showers around generate noise similar to the airport sound. No chance to sleep when neighbors are taking a shower. - breakfast - bare minimum. I would love to have a bagel with some plain cheese, or hard boiled egg. I am not mentioning chip sausage or hamburger. It would be very nice. - broken door lock to the balcony - not possible to open. - bathroom very, very dark. More light, please.
