Good Value

Pros: Nice hotel with swimming pool, hot tub and workout room.
Cons: Breakfast selection could be enlarged. They did have a waffle maker and the usual items. No potatoes or bacon or sausage.
Location: There were some restaurants nearby for dining. We ate at the Black Angus.
This La Quinta was much nicer than most La Quinta's I have stayed at.

Disappointing and won't be back
Posted Jan 27, 2013
This hotel was clearly an older property which had been updated with the cheapest materials. This hotel needs a serious remodel with better quality materials. The only exception was that the A/C system was updated and worked very well. Upon arrival, however, the room smelled slightly musty -- not sure if the carpet or bed spread needed a thorough cleaning. The daily breakfast was very basic. Yes, there were cereals and breads to toast, but the only hand-cooked food by hotel staff was a basic two egg patty both days we stayed there-- no bacon, sausage or even potatoes. You could make your own waffles which were very good, but there was no variety on a daily basis. Overall, the breakfast was very marginal. The only bright spot is that the hotel staff was very accommodating and pleasant.

Everything We Were Looking For!
Posted Jan 4, 2013
Pros: Helpful staff, pretty good breakfast
Cons: A bit far from downtown, especially with traffic.
Location: Away from the business of the city,
This was the second time we stayed there. The staff was wonderful, they were courteous with every request I had. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Next time we head back to Seattle I'd be pleased to stay there again.

Pros: clean room
Cons: smoking outside of the front door
My only two complaints were guests as well as staff smoking outside the front door, you had to walk through it almost everytime we entered or left the building. the hours of breakfast, we were on holidays we did not want to rush to get down for breakfast.

Not Bad
Posted Jan 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
I am a frequent La Quinta guest because I often have pets with me when I travel. The Lynnwood La Quinta is not the best one I've ever been to; the place is old and showing signs of wear, and the bathtub faucet in my room wasn't working properly. Other than that, however, I have no complaints. The bed was comfortable, the room was comfortable (other than very little water pressure in the shower), my pets had a safe place to stay with me, and the location was convenient to my needs.

Would be so easy to be SOOO much better
Posted Jan 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
The good: The beds were very comfy. The not-so-good: Breakfast was only so-so for a deluxe complimentary breakfast...same every day. The temp in the common areas of the hotel was chilly at best. The pool area (air) temperature was kept at 70 degrees. The pool was COLD. The hot tub jets didn't work at all. And after I told them on day one, they still didn't work on day 6. Disappointed in lack of responsiveness of front desk. At the end of my stay, they almost charged me for an extra day as well.

Quiet and friendly. The quality of service: Had to go and get facecloths and toilet paper at the front desk which was not acceptable!
