Duck Duck Goose

Posted Jun 12, 2015
When I got into bed I started feel small prickling sensations. I got out of bed to pull back the sheets to check for bed bugs. What I found was 100s of duck feathers poking out of the "mattress topper", through the mattress cover and the sheet. I called the front desk and was told that the mattress topper was standard in all rooms, but I was offered no solutions and scant sympathy. OUt of frustration I stripped the bed, through the mattress topper and the mattress cover n the corner, pulled duck feathers out of the top of the mattress and ten remade the bed. When I complained to staff in the morning I was told that the duck mattress toppers are part of their "brand".

Always enjoy Larkspur Landing

Posted Jun 3, 2015
Pros: Coffee was great!
Cons: Breakfast is underwhelming, waffles would make it perfect.
Location: we came into town to help a family member move.
We stayed just one night and the hotel was great, as always - great beds, large room (we stayed in an Executive Suite).

Nice hotel close to the freeway

Posted Jun 2, 2015
Pros: The courteous staff at the front desk, the apples and hot cookies!
Cons: the bedroom balcony draperies were dirty and stained.
Location: we were attending a banquet that evening and wanted something small before attending. Lots of fast food in the area.
We had a nice stay, very quiet atmosphere and friendly staff. We had a question regarding the bedroom air conditioner late in the evening, and very nice staff came to our room and answered our questions as well as demonstrated how to use.

Nice Stay

Posted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, good food, easy access to the airport using their shuttle and a very quiet place.
Cons: This is already a great hotel, keep it up.
Location: Visit the Japanese gardens, shopping at a nearby mall which is 3 miles from the hotel, University of Washington and just visiting greater Seattle area
The hotel offered good breakfast and fast speed internet and cookies and fruits. The staff very friendly and willing to help.

Reason why I return to the Larkspur

Posted May 26, 2015
When ever I come to visit family I stay at the Renton or Bellevue Larkspur. The rooms are always clean, they stock everything I need for my stay and the staff is always kind and greet me with a smile and my name. It's a very friendly and inviting atmosphere. Sure, once in a while things happen or it's not up to standard, but they are very accommodating when those things do happen, which is rare. It's a nice hotel for the price. I would certainly recommend it to anyone.

Perfect for Our Needs

Posted May 20, 2015
Check-in is at three, and after having some spicy food at Pike Place I wasn't quite equipped to handle, we went to Larkspur at about four. The woman at the front desk quickly checked out room and explained that housekeeping hadn't yet gotten to it, and that if we would wait in their--beautiful--lobby she'd let us know as soon as it was ready. About ten minutes came and gone, so we checked in with her again, explained my stomach issue as the reason we seemed pushy, and within two minutes she had upgraded our suite size (for FREE!) and given us our new keys. Sweet! Later we watched a few dvds from their library, had popcorn which they provided, and ate some of the freshly baked chocolate cookies they had placed at the front desk. In the morning there was juice, milk (including lactose free options), tea, coffee, cinnamon rolls, muffins, bagels, lunch meats, cheeses, boiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal, and of course some condiments like jam and cream cheese. Great experience. The room was clean (the only thing we found was a baby toy tucked away in a corner, it was more cute than a reason to complain), the staff was incredibly nice, and I'd recommend it in an instant.

Nice place to stay for the money.

Posted May 1, 2015
Pros: Bedding is always clean, staff is friendly. Always willing to accommodate my room location preferrence. I like it quiet and away from the elevators.
Cons: Some of the desk chairs are wearing out, couple times the closet doors didn't work, tile in the bathroom creaks and should probably be resealed.
Needs a few upgrades. But for the money it's nice. I stay at the Renton and the Bellevue Larkspurs. Both have been very comfortable. When ever I am in town I stay here. I visit family and friends while in town. The Bellevue Larkspur has nicer views out the window and when you walk in they have some sort of scensies going on. Which I really like. Renton Larkspur doesn't have that, but it is still nice. Bellevue Larkspur also has free laundry, which is a big plus for me when I stay multiple days.
