Great rooms, but our tub was not draining properly

Pros: Spacious room
Cons: Continental breakfast
Location: Not much near by.
Breakfast could have had more variety like fresh fruit.

Not a good experience

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Comfortable beds and pillows.
Cons: Cleanliness of rooms.
Location: Convenient to my business needs.
The suite was very poorly cleaned, HEAVY dust visible on carpet under and beside furniture. Pulled out nightstand to plug in CPAP machine and in addition to dust was heavy lint, feathers, dust balls. The space provided for "complimentary" breakfast is way too small, few places to sit, people having to balance coffee, juice and food to carry it back to their rooms. Encountered a couple of snippy deskclerks. When I notified the manager at check-out about the dirty condition of the room, he went to see for himself and agreed that it was unacceptable and offered to take one night off the bill.

Outstanding

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Almost everything is free. Free cookies and apples at the front desk, free coffee and tea all day long, free breakfast, and free laundry. Unheard of.
Cons: I can't think of anything.
Location: Near Ikea, plenty of amazing Asian food (and a Ranch 99 mall), great BBQ downtown, and Seattle is just a few minutes away.
Everyone was very friendly, accommodations were clean and comfortable.

Nice hotel worth the drive out

Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: Comfortable bed and the separate living space was very nice.
Cons: More TV channels to watch.
Location: We ordered take out from Red Robins which was great.
My family and I enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay again. We slept in so missed out on breakfast.

Dear Nina, Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately sometimes our beds are so comfortable our guests don't want to get up for breakfast. We sincerely look forward to your next stay. If you wish to sleep in let us know and we can put a small breakfast together for you later on in the day. Regards, Thomas Hughes General Manager

Three persons - only a queen seize bed

Posted Jun 18, 2014
Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: Must give two beds for three persons.
We were given only a queen seize bed. Aren't there a promise on the undisclosed discount hotel which supposed give 40% discount to guarantee the number of beds that could sleep the number of persons? Our other experiences for 3 persons we always get two beds. Not for Larkpurs.

Dear Kok Cheng, I am truly sorry to hear the room we had reserved for you was not to your satisfaction. We have several room types available to book and try our best to accommodate needed changes and upgrades at check-in, but sometimes other room types are sold out. Please accept my apology. I hope you were able to enjoy your stay in regards to the rest of the hotel. Sincerely, Thomas Hughes General Manager

Good Long-Term Hotel

Posted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: Plenty of parking and food establishments are close. Close driving distance to the airport.
Cons: Located in a business park so you cannot walk anywhere. Hotel is close to a major highway which did not allow you to open the windows at night.
Rooms were clean. Nothing fancy. Rooms will probably need to be updated soon. Not a glamorous hotel, but the Hotel Staff was excellent and very helpful. Needed to use the pull out Queen Sofa Bed which was fairly comfortable.

Excellent customer service!!

Posted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: Every person that works there is so pleasant! We were always greeted with hello's and how are you's no matter who the worker was.
Cons: We never had a problem with the shuttle service for going anywhere but getting picked up from places we usually always had to wait at least :30-1hr
Location: grocery stores are close, decent amount of restaurants, some fast food, mall, family fun center
Loved this hotel! The shuttle service is one of the main reasons we chose to stay at this hotel- very convenient. The room was spacious enough for two people- studio suite with a full kitchen.

Nice

Posted May 30, 2014
Pros: The friendly staff and comfortable bed and room.
Cons: A larger breakfast room.
Location: It is good for a bed in the Seattle Renton area as we drive en route from BC to Portland. The area is pretty well all industrial with a couple othe.
The front desk staff was especially friendly and helpful, which we needed after our GPS took us way off course. If we had printed out a map we would have found it easily. The breakfast room is a bit small, but the comfortable quiet room and bed made up for this! A nice 3 1/2 star hotel.

Comfortable for short stay.Close to SeaTac airport

Posted May 28, 2014
Pros: Night staff whom we interacted with most often--was *fantastic*.
Cons: Supply new mattress for the pullout sofa bed and clean under the sofabeds.
Location: -Location is a 15-20min drive to all the Seattle/Bellevue theatres which is why were were there (SIFF).
-Used the pull-out queen sofabed. The mattress was very thin, the cover provided was ripped, the down comforter was adequate. Once pulled out, the flooring under sofabed was filthy. -Friday night, had to call the front desk for all the yelling that was in the parking lot. Night staff gal was fearless, she had the couple leave. *Thank you* -To clean the room, you have to put the placard on your door to 'Clean My Room'. I mistakenly thought no placard on door meant to okay to clean room. -We were there for the Memorial Day weekend for the SIFF. Didn't take advantage of all the hotel extras. -The continental breakfast was so-so. -There is coffee all day and all night! including decaf. (double cup it, as there are no cup sleeves.) -Plenty of parking. -Staff provided us with turn-by-turn short directions to freeways and map supplied was helpful. Staff was helpful in locating local restaurants, e.g. wal-mart, starbucks, 24/7 IHOP at Southcenter, &c.

Dear Vel, I apologize for the condition of your room. I have addressed the issue with our housekeeping manager and he has implemented addition steps to ensure the sofa beds are cleaned underneath and the sheets are in excellent condition. If you should return and need to use a sofa bed again all rooms containing couches have an additional feather topper in the closet to increase the comfort level of our sofa beds. I am glad our night staff was able to handle the noise issue so quickly as it is important all of our guests are able to sleep soundly. Thank you for your comments and suggestions for improvement.
