Wonderful hotel in downtown SeattlePosted Jul 9, 2015
Pros: Fantastic location, friendly staff, elegant decor. Our room had dual bathrooms which was a nice and unique addition.
Cons: I honestly can't think of anything.
Location: Pike's Place Market, Space Needle, Mariners and Seahawks.
Everything about our experience was wonderful. The decor of the hotel itself is elegant, the staff were very friendly and helpful, our room was extremely nice, and the location was great. The Pike Place Market is a few blocks away, the monorail to the Space Needle is around the corner, and Safeco field is about a mile and half away. We loved our stay and this would be at the top of my list if we return to Seattle.

Pros: The room was very spacious. Having two bathrooms was fantastic!!
Location: It was just steps from the monorail. You are only about four blocks from the waterfront. Starbucks is very close by. You are in a great shopping area.
We had a lovely time here. The Mayflower is a beautiful hotel.

Great locationPosted Jul 2, 2015
Pros: Location location location
Location: Pike Place Market, Space Needle, shopping, museums - we walked everywhere but monorail and lite rail are right there.
We did not spend a lot of time in the hotel, but the price and location were great. Bed was so-so on comfort level, entire hotel was very clean, staff was efficient and friendly - especially the doormen. Air conditioning was great. We had some noise disturbance from another guest, but that is not the hotel's fault. This is a very reasonably priced hotel (book early) and has a great location. Walking distance to Pike Place Market and many wonderful restaurants (and shopping if you so choose). Public transportation including the monorail to the Space Needle and the Lite Rail to the airport are on the same block, just around the corner.

Seattle and MorePosted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: Location is convenient to multiple transportation services, food and shopping.
Cons: Seattle needs to provide additional services for homeless population. The number of incidents on the street were unsettling. Urine smell pugent.
Location: Emerald City Trolley was informative and helpful to see entire city in a day. Loved the International District...thanks Japanese Ramen!
Enjoyed the Edgewater and Mayflower hotels. Great service, location and food. Took the Washington Ferry to Bainbridge...wouldn't recommend visiting for more than a couple of hours. Took Victoria Clipper to San Juan Island and whale watching. Great two night stay at Earthbox Hotel and three day visit to Friday Harbor. Returned to Seattle and stayed at the Mayflower. The trolley, monorail, light rail and scheduled town car provide excellent transportation around town and to airport.

Old fashionable comfort for the mature travelersPosted Jun 25, 2015
Cons: The bathroom could stand for an update.
Location: Nordstrom and Macy's are next door, Pike Place Market and art galleries are an easy walk away.
The Mayflower is located next to the light rail system terminal in Westlake Mall. That makes it convenient to Sea-Tac, the sports stadiums and the financial centers. Given Seattle's ridiculous downtown traffic, staying at the Mayflower is the only way I would even consider going to Seattle if I had to be anywhere near the downtown area. The hotel itself is comfortable like an exclusive old private club with service to match. It is not a plastic and glit place staffed with people trying to make you think they care.

Very nice hotel in downtown SeattlePosted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: The location was great. It was within walking distance to the major sights of downtown Seattle. It is right around the corner from the monorail.
Cons: In room refrigerator would have been ideal.
Location: There were too many choices for a one night stay.
The hotel room is a newly remodeled room that is very small by today's standards. We were able to walk to most of the Seattle sights. The hotel is located right around the corner from the monorail station to take you to the Space Needle.
